Staybridge Suites - Florence Center, an IHG Hotel

The stay was nice and quiet. The rooms were very clean and the AC ran just right. There was plenty of space to spread apart and relax throughout the hotel. The staff was very nice as well.

This is not the hotel’s fault, but a storm caused a power outage so our room had no power for about 5 hours the second day. Which was not that big of deal. It was just more frustrating to trek up and down the stairs with stuff and trying to figure out what was going on since our room was at the top of the hotel and the elevators didn’t come back until the next day. Also, the breakfast was somewhat cold and off the second morning. I’m guessing it was just as a result of trying to recover from the storm the night before. I think that they handled the power outage situation well in communicating with guests and trying to make sure that everyone was safe and able to get down from their higher floors safely.

We made it in time for the complimentary dinner which was a nice surprise. The staff were all very friendly. The room was very spacious. We also enjoyed the breakfast. I appreciated that they had bottles of soaps, shampoos, conditioners on the wall to avoid all the waste of so many tiny bottles and bars of soap that just get thrown away. I also appreciated that they had the set of sheets for the pullout bed ready to go in a bag in the closet. We didn't end up going out to eat, but it looked like there were several options nearby.

The soda machine in the breakfast area was out of order.

The room we stayed in was a king suite. Having a separate bedroom from the sitting area (living room) was nice. For our stay, we had two (2) kids, an eight (8) month old and a dog. The bedroom was large enough to accommodate the pack-and-play for our youngest and had a mostly comfortable chair in the room (that was used for seating for a middle-of-the-night wake-up). The sitting area (living room) couch had a twin pull-out, which was enough for our oldest and the extended couch worked for our middle child. This worked out very well. Included with the stay is free dinner and drinks Monday - Thursday, from 1730 to 1930. The inclusion of the food and drinks with our stay made up for the added pet fee for the room. This place is a little more on the pricey side but when we are traveling during the week and know we will be checking in early, this is going to be our go-to.

My only issue with the room was the layout. Access to the bathroom was only available through the bedroom.

Breakfast was standard hotel buffet.

2 interactions with staff that I didn’t like. We stayed for 2 nights, a Friday and the following Tuesday. We have 2 kids. The room I booked slept 4. We had a king bed and a single-wide sleeper sofa. After the first night I asked to change the 2nd night to 2 queens. The desk staff said they couldn’t help me because I went through booking.com. We arrived for breakfast at 5:50, actually just to grab bagels and muffins for the road and were told breakfast opens at 6:00 in a not so friendly manner.

Everything was nicely organized and arranged we enjoyed ourselves since it was a little pit stop on our way to the beach, would recommend to others and the breakfast was really delightful and we enjoyed eating the breakfast! Overall the room we booked was spacious and comfortable although it was a little confusing the new up to date tech that was added it all ended up working out! Gladly in the future we will look at this place as a continued location for our future needs!

Everything was good!

We often stop in one of Florence Hotels when we travel by I-95. This time we selected a new one and were quite impressed by the very positive attitude of the hotel staff, by very clean and comfortable rooms. We were lucky to experience a "social" event and enjoyed our complementary meal and drinks after a long drive from Western Florida. The breakfast was great. A good selection of various foods and beverages. All in all we like very much this one-night stay in the nice new hotel.

Well, the only thing that we did not like was the fact that we stayed there ONLY ONE night...

We loved everything about this property. It is a beautiful, immaculate hotel with an amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Great personnel - from the front desk, housekeepers, right down to the two sweet ladies working so hard in the breakfast room. Breakfast was also the best self service breakfast buffet I've ever experienced at any hotel. Rooms were beautiful and spacious with everything you need to be comfortable. This hotel has got it going on!!

We loved everything, don't change a thing, it was a perfect stay!

Everything! Probably the best place I have stayed in..... EVER! Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Very large suite and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Large TV, great wifi. Smooth elevator ride. Everything you could need was available. Nice pool area w/ gazebo. Great breakfast. I could go on and on and on.

Although it was cool, the sliding door for the bathroom. It did not completely shut. It was a 1/4 inch gap when locked. You could still see into the bathroom

Breakfast was great! Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked really nice. Complimentary shower products were very appreciated since we didn't have anything with us.

Not enough towels per people. When checking in we listed 2 adults and 3 children and our room only had 4 towels. The coffee at breakfast was pretty bad. Also there were not enough vegetarian options for breakfast. Maybe get some of the vegetarian breakfast meats from Morningstar or Impossible.

We arrived during the week around dinner time and they had a wonderful surprise ... a dinner was included ... not fancy but very satisfying .... soup, salad bar, sandwiches, burgers, desserts .... with beer and wine included. It was so nice not to have to go out .... we went up to our 1 bedroom suite which was absolutely beautiful with a full kitchen. It had a gym and included our breakfast. What a great place to stay on our way home.
