Hampton Inn Yemassee/Point South, Sc

Very cordial and helpful staff. This hotel takes Covid-19 precautions seriously—very clean, everyone masked in public spaces, hot breakfast plates by gloved staff person behind plexiglass, spacious area in which to eat (when masks obviously have to come off).

No negatives!

We were pleasantly surprised! Really helpful & friendly gentleman at front desk, good location, great price. You can tell that they make an extra effort to keep things neat & clean. They fix the towels in nice, decorative bundles and offer very good toiletries. Also, the room was a good size & comfortable.

Nothing.

Not to far from the express way. Rooms were kept as our reservtion (1 double bed and 1 King bed) Staff was polite and greeted you all the time. Parking area was good but the property is not responsible for any damage to the car (???)

My room was comfortable but in the bathroom, the WC needs to put some clorox to look better than yellow and I found some hair around the WC as well in the shower.

I love that breakfast bacon egg sausage grits all of it wonderful. The pool would have been nice if it had been open it was pretty. the room was clean and well maintained. we were in the bottom floor handicap room with a flat shower floor. The location in yemassee is excellent, being Central and within 30 minutes to an hour of Hilton Head island or Beaufort or Savannah, even Charleston South Carolina

There was trash at the entrance all night long overflowing from the trash cans and people kept propping the side door open next to our room so they can smoke or whatever. stuff I experienced at places like motel 6 or knights inn where I paid half and don't go there anymore. Apparently the night manager was aware of both items and didn't do anything about it till I said something. I also noted that they didn't disinfect the carts after people brought them back from using them. They put a $30 charge on our card for possible purchases from their store that we never would have made and never made.

Excellent breakfast, cleanliness

Small things in the room, e.g. only one chair, insufficient room lighting, confusing thermostat, poorly designed cabinet on which TV sits, TV not centered between beds, no towel racks, pillows folded double are hard to use

Front desk staff very kind and welcoming. Breakfast items of wide variety and quite good.

Our room smelled a bit like “wet dog” but this might have been a byproduct of the hard water smell from the area. Our bathroom floor could have been cleaner, especially in the corners.

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Good value for the money on our way North

The location was good for off the interstate however there is nothing around in way of restaurants without having a vehicle. A minor issue I would still stay there again

The receptionist was friendly and helpful in completing my reservation. The breakfast was great. Friendly staff. The room had everything for our stay. The bed was very comfortable.

The rug in the room seemed old. The tub was small, walk in shower would be better.

I like everything they could of change up on the breakfast they had the same thing every morning

Beside that I like everything the Ppl there was very nice the manager David was real nice I meet some working that work there name Terri Staller and each morning I saw them they was nice and pleasant and a guy name James he was cleaning when my family did see him he greet us with a smile and ask us how we are doing

Breakfast staff and food were both wonderful. Front desk staff was very helpful. Convenient location and clean facility
