Embassy Suites Chattanooga Hamilton Place

We stayed here once before, a few months ago, and I initially planned to get a smaller room for a lower price since it was just 2 of us this time... but after 2 hours scouring reviews, I realized I enjoyed our last stay and preferred to pay a little more to not be so anxious. The room was clean and comfortable, the toiletries were nice (I loved the mild scent of the hair and body products), and it was easy to get a good night's rest. Breakfast was just as delicious as I had remembered, with plenty of variety (even for one who can't eat gluten, like myself). The staff we interacted with were courteous.

Literally the only downside this time was parking, because of a convention. This did not impact our stay, only the convenience of parking near the front as opposed to way in the back. It certainly doesn't affect my view of our experience.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. One of the main reasons why I chose to stay at Embassy suites. Room was exceptionally clean and bed was very comfortable. Overall, the staff was very friendly. Specifically the front desk was amazing as well as the Cleaning Service. But the people in the kitchen could definitely use a little bit of happiness. I will have to say there was one woman there, who was one of the kindest ladies I have ever met in my entire life, and she worked in the area where we ate breakfast. And every morning we came down. She said, good morning to my child and sang a little good morning song - it absolutely made our day. She definitely was an added bonus. The evening drinks were good but no real snacks for the kiddos. The bartender told me that they discontinued that a couple years ago. I did not know that.

There were no snacks during the evening hour where the adults could get drinks. In the past embassy would have fruit and just little finger foods that the kids could munch on, but they don’t do that anymore. The people in the kitchen don’t seem that happy. Except for Sunday, but guy making the omelettes was extremely nice.

Was allocated a room on the top (7th) floor with a balcony and some lovely views, room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, and everything that we needed was provided. Two Free drinks each in the bar in the early evening was appreciated.

Warning! Upon checking out, I, as I always do, asked for a printed receipt of my account. Upon checking found that we had actually been charged around $70 more than the price agreed upon booking, via Booking.com, for a three-night stay. ENSURE YOU GET A PRINTED BILL, AND CHECK IT BEGORE DEPARTING FROM THE HOTEL.

Check in/out was quick and smooth. 3 elevators for quick transport, breakfast food was very good (my dad was impressed). Pool was warm, outside smoking areas were far enough away to not bother us non-smokers, but not too far for hubby to get to and feel inconvenienced. All the staff were very friendly. We had to have more blankets sent up, and they were delivered in less than 5 minutes.

Self-service breakfast bar would have been better for the hot items. We went to the pool at 7am (when it was to be opened for the day), but there were no towels out, and there were still messes/dirty towels/shoes etc from the previous day. We stayed until 830 when other people came in, and the towels were replaced and area was cleaned about 8. The couch pull-out bed is fit for children, probably under teenage years. My daughter and SIL (18 year olds) slept on it and they were not happy with it. But, it's a pull-out couch.

The receptionists were some of the warmest, kindest we have met in hotels around the world. We work and often travel overseas, and while we have met extraordinary, kind people in every country, Nyesha, Tammie, Tamecia, Avery were incredible. They suggested tours and took time to explain the sites Chattanooga had to offer. In a busy, rushed world, a few minutes mean a lot. That’s what brings people back. It’s not simply the facilities and rooms; it is more so the welcoming, warm, human spirit. A special thanks to Nyesha, Tammie, Tamecia, and Avery. If ever in the area again, we would definitely choose this hotel.

Hotel itself is beautiful. Clean rooms and great breakfast.

The staff wasn’t very friendly or inviting. When we arrived around 2am the male auditor wasn’t at the desk. We waited a few minutes before he came. He didn’t greet us or make us feel welcomed. The next morning I checked my account to find I have four charges for the two rooms I booked! When I asked the desk agent about it she told me the other two charges I see are not from them. It clearly showed Embassy suites 4 times on my account. I let it go thinking two of them might just be authorization holds and will fall off. Nope!! All four of them have gone through. It tied up nearly $700 of my money. Called to let them know and was transferred to the revenue manager that went to voicemail. I’ve had to dispute the charges with my bank. Poor cistern service.

The breakfast was great per usual. This is a prime location. There is a Mall literally 5 min away and several restaurants for your convenience.

There really isn't anything bad I can say about this hotel. If I had to choose one thing, and I'm just being picky, housekeeping did not remove the dirty towels from our room when they gave us clean ones. But again I'm just nick picking. The hotel and staff was great!

everything basically. beautiful property, building, and rooms. loved that they offered free adult drinks and apps, as well as breakfast. my kids enjoyed the indoor pool. I loved the gym. lots of food and shopping nearby everywhere

pillows were like cotton balls stuffed into a pillowcase. breakfast was so-so. some items were great, others not so much. this is a dog friendly hotel so I wish there was a larger area for them to do their business and close by to avoid accidents.

10/10 hotel. Family of 4 traveling from WI to Chattanooga. Didn't want to stay downtown in an overpriced hotel. This was about a 15 min drive to downtown/major attractions BUT SO WORTH IT. The hotel is amazing! Its clean, comfortable, in a nice and safe area with SO many food and shopping options all around. Free parking, free WIFI, all the bells and whistles. Hotel serves a delicious free (included w stay) made to order breakfast and even has a happy hour with a snack and 2 free drinks. If youre visiting Chattanooga,TN stay here. You wont regret it! Beautiful and welcoming hotel and staff. Bravo!👏 We will be back!

Everything was perfect!!

I didn’t like the set of it I LOVED it l, it was very spacious and clean!!

I didn’t like that after I checked in on my mobile device and said that I would check in at 3pm which was the check in time, that I had to wait an additional 1hr before I could go into my room due to them not having the room clean. We ended up having to be moved to a different room because the original room wasn’t ready still. I felt that since it was a mobile check in that it would’ve been done a lot faster and easier, it was individuals coming in for the first time no mobile check in and was able to get their room and was able to go straight up to their room. Just didn’t seem fair. It was two other families that had the same issue as I.
