Comfort Suites Kingsport

Breakfast. This is the best part of the stay, we have stayed at this location four times in the last two years, the same lady at the hotel is in charge of the breakfast. The area is clean, well-managed and better food than the waffle house

Found a screwdriver, a few roofing nails, stink bugs, many strings on the floor, housekeeping needs to learn how to use a vacuum, this could have been a bad situation had one of us stepped on the nails, lucky we found them before we took our shoes off. If I could see them, why could housekeeping not see them??? I would check my room carefully, does not appear housekeeping or management does?

Great location, Comfortable bed

The breakfast may have been good, but there was never enough food brought out. The pans for the meat and the eggs were almost always empty, and when she did bring something out, it was never enough to feed all the people waiting. If they are trying to save money there, they are succeeding!

The sweet female running the breakfast was PHENOMENAL. Any time she saw food getting low, she was coming out with a new platter of fresh food! When the food was not being grabbed, she was cleaning up all the areas, sweeping, and taking trash out. I complimented her as much as I could for truly going above and beyond for service!!!! The elevators were a bit musty smelling but wasn’t a big deal for us. COVID: they have signs up saying masks ARE MANDATORY but we didn’t see a single person wearing one from Friday night- Sunday morning. If you are worried about exposure, please keep this in mind!! The hotel rooms were clean and pleasant, with 2 TVs for the Queen suite (we loved that!) and great access to the Interstate and nearby town for food.

The gym - I only used the treadmill & could tell it had its fair amount of usage and it was nearing time for replacement. Squeaky, the fans inside the treadmill were weakened, and it got relatively hot inside the gym.

The breakfast was very good. Late Night staff 'Max" was very helpful. Even when we checked in very late he was so polite and helpful. He actually helped in providing hot water from the closed cafeteria. And that was really appreciable.

Location was the primary reason we chose this hotel.

The outdoor smoking area was located just outside the main entrance and you had to walk through that and I don’t like smoke because it takes my breath away.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they answered all questions. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were clean and spacious with great view on front side of building. Bathrooms stocked and clean. Bed was comfortable and clean. Was a great value for the money. Would stay again if I'm in the area.

Restaurants were a little further from the hotel than I would like, but was easy to overcome. The virus has caused the staff to serve the breakfast, they do all they can, but ended up with just OJ to drink at my choice.

Very nice and clean

I was at the store and called front desk to have my call transferred to our room to check on my 88 year old mother-in-law and they refused to transfer the call.

Beds were comfortable and clean! Different types of pillows, some soft some medium firm. We didn't have their breakfast bit it smelled good and looked to have a good selection of hot and cold items. Staff was super friendly and helpful!!! Location was good. Not too crazy busy and right by a wendys and Hardee's.

Our room was by the elevator and we could hear it if we left our bathroom door open. So we just shut it even when no one was in there to help muffle the noise.

The breakfast was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and roomy. The customer service persom was also very helpful allowing me early registration as I arrived 2 hours early and it was extremely hot.

I have no negatives. Wonderful stay.

Good location Clean Friendly staff

No USB charging in room Remote control to one TV didn’t work; must have been swapped with another room’s remote. TV came on at night and scared me to death.
