Hotel Indigo - Memphis Downtown, an IHG Hotel

The grab and go breakfast was packaged muffins and a Dole fruit cup. With all the great biscuit joints around, I never ate the gran and go. I liked that they offered this, in case you have an early flight. I also liked that they had parking, but wished it was a little cheaper or included. And I appreciated that we could come and go and not have to pay multiple times for parking. The staff at the front desk were very nice. They gave me a very warm welcome. And I felt like the hotel was very safe.

The breakfast could have been better, but at least it was something. And the parking could have been a little less.

The room was spacious, well-decorated, clean and the bed was the comfiest bed I had ever slept on. Amazing shower, too! Perfect location, 5 min walk from Beale Street without any issues with noise or anything like that. The hotel has a nice 60s decor with a public Jukebox in the lobby. The hotel has a car park but it is 20 dollars a day.

I paid for breakfast when booking on the website and was told by the receptionist that the hotel doesn't do any breakfast on Sunday mornings. We were offered a "breakfast bag" which we didn't take. I paid an extra 10 dollars for an inexistent breakfast. The receptionist at check out was very blunt and bit rude. I wish the staff would have been more welcoming and giving out information spontaneously and that would have been a perfect stay.

This was my very first time staying at the hotel indigo, an it was awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖, the young lady that checked us in, was very friendly, nice down to earth 🌎, the appearance of the hotel was very good, their housekeeping staff does an excellent job in keeping this hotel 🏨 up to date. The extra plus was the restaurant that was in the hotel, I'm talking food cooked made to your asking we didn't have wait long for our food, and it was served hot and it was delicious 😋... once again I would love to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the hotel indigo, for making my wife and I stay the best,,, hope to see you again soon Jimmy Peden 🤗🖐❤️💞

I HAVE NO DISLIKES AT ALL.....

Location as intended for my trip and worked well. Breakfast at a separate establishment next door. It was great but I didn’t know about it my first morning. I wish Reception had told me. Staff super friendly however and in most cases were very helpful. Room big stylish and very, comfy especially the bed!

Shame the pool area locked. Check in was early evening and I had been traveling nearly 24 hours, so I wish they had been a bit more friendly and informative. I didn’t feel very welcome that evening but maybe I was tired too. Didn’t tell me about next door diner for breakfast or why they charged my card $75, for things that I might purchase in my stay. Very cursory check in. Also the bathroom, although very clean and modern, was badly designed in places. The over basin mirror was in the way of the tap so you couldn’t fully open it up and the shower tray was almost flush to the floor so it flooded the whole room if not very careful. These are easy fix things and it was a shame on an otherwise great experience in a lovely, good value hotel.

The staff MAKES this hotel. Tiffany, Lamaria, Reasa, and Yougaman are excellent, wonderful, patient and memorable people. They made my wife LOVE our experience at Hotel Indigo and we make a trip through Memphis 6 times a year and we will ALWAYS stay at Hotel Indigo thanks to their warmth and humor. The rest of the property met our expectations but any accolades or words of support and encouragement should go to them.

I liked how the room looked exactly like the pictures online. I appreciate that I was offered the option to park on the street and not forced to park in the garage. I was able to check in way earlier than my scheduled time!

I didn't like the hotel is almost on the outskirts of the downtown area. It gave "last home on the block." I wouldn't expect the parking garage price ($22/night) to be a little cheaper, if not free, considering street parking is free after 6 pm and free on the weekends.

The style was great and I really liked the pool location! The woman who checked us in was 100% amazing.

The only down sides were that there was no reading light or easy way to turn off the lights for sleeping without getting out of bed. And, the price seemed high, and there was no breakfast included. The options in the grab-n-go didn't include any gluten free options.

the restaurant is a hidden jewel! the staff was amazing and the food was spectacular! and I am very picky. the bread pudding was to die for ! the location was perfect ! the lobby adorable!

not cleaning the room each day felt more like an excuse then a COVID protocol. we had to ask for more towels more cups more coffee more tea. nothing was replenished. there were no pool towels and it was 94 degrees. our bathroom sink was pulled away from the wall so obviously that no one cared to fix it !

The front desk staff was so helpful to me and my mom. They let us check in early, and gave us a quiet room high up on the ninth floor. This was a splurge gift to my mom for Mother's Day and she was very impressed. The view from our window, the quality of the bedding, the location...wow. I'd go back.

It's hard for guests that there are only two elevators. Did spend a while waiting for it, especially at checkout time. Although the pool was too cold for me to swim in, loved hanging out by it. Cornhole was surprisingly fun.

Location was a little run down and the bar and restraunt attached were not in fact run by Hotel indigo and seemed to run its own hours such a shame other than this it would have been 10/10 pool area was also not open whilst appreciate pool is seasonal somewhere to sit out and use pool terrace would have been nice
