Hyatt Place Memphis Wolfchase

Everything was clean, the staff went over, and beyond from the time I walked in until the time I left. I love cleanliness because it makes you feel safer during the stay. Each employee I came in contact with even down to the employee taking the orders for hot items was more than exceptional. Each employee on the shift those two days really deserve a raise because you don't find good staff like those people and Hyatt needs to keep them there (& train others to be like them). My daughters game fell behind a piece of furniture in the room that I couldn't move. I was unable to retrieve it and began to feel hopeless, but I called front desk and the employee came to the rescue. He came up immediately and tried everything he could to get it. Then after several ways didn't work he called maintenance. Maintenance came straight up to remove the piece and they both retrieved my daughter's game. Again, I must add the whole staff including housekeeping went over and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I'm really not over exaggerating when I say the whole staff, but this paragraph is getting so long. I don't want anyone to get left off. Thank you staff!

The staff was amazing the minute we walked in the door. The room was large and comfortable for my party of 5 plus two small dogs. There was a $75 non refundable pet fee, but I was happy to pay that for the comfortable stay. The grounds of the hotel were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

Not really something I didn’t like about the hotel, but a fire alarm went off while we were there. We were let back in the building prior to the fire department coming in to clear the area. Having a family member that is a firefighter and working at a school, I am aware that the fire department should have come in first before we returned inside to be safe.

The staff was so incredibly hospitable and accommodating! If we needed anything, it was done within minutes. We were made to feel at home and valued. We traveled to Memphis for my 82 year old mother’s dream trip to Graceland and your hotel and staff helped to make it so enjoyable for her. Everything was wonderful. 😊

There was an area outside of the side door that had a lot of dog poo. A couple of us stepped in it on the morning of our checkout. I did tell the front desk staff about it.

Great room. It was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The room was also very quiet, which was great the last morning we were there because the hotel was nearly full from a college football game in town.

I wish the pool would have been open after Labor Day. We arrived on Labor Day and were told the pool would be closed for the season the next day. Temperatures are still in the 90s in Memphis at that time, so I believe they need to consider that instead of making a blanket policy to close the pool at a certain date. And it wasn't like they had a crew there the next day to stow all of the patio furniture and winterize the pool.

The TV was great but situated where it couldn't readily be seen from the sofa. The breakfast was limited which was understandable due to the Covid-19 situation.

The pool is nice and deep...not just shallow. Excellent breakfast even with all the Covid precautions still offers hot items. Good coffee. This location is right in a shopping area. Lots of good restaurants close by

I really liked the location which is in a large shopping area. Loved the bar options and food that can be ordered to cook downstairs.

I ended up renting 3 rooms for our 3 night stay. I asked for room service to have the rooms cleaned each day which was put into the computer. We had to go down each day and ask why the room wasn’t cleaned. One afternoon I went down 3 times asking when were they coming up. Once they took the sheets off but didn’t make the beds up but brought us sheets for us to do. My mother passed away and the last thing we wanted to do was come back to wet towels and making beds after her visitation.

Clean, staff friendly, hot breakfast good, close to shopping centers.

The hotel restaurant/bar leaves a lot to be desired. They have 1 person that works it and they also help checkin as well and they cook the food. So, if you're having drinks and food gets ordered, you may be waiting 30 mins for your next drink. I had a person working the front desk come up once and ask if I needed another, but aside from that I spent a lot of time waiting to order another drink. Also, $7 for a domestic bootle of beer is a bit much. The menu is very limited as well. I will say however the food was pretty good though.
