Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Memphis East Galleria

Friendly staff, clean facilities, and overall pleasant stay. It was one of the better hotels I've ever stayed in. If I ever traveled back to Memphis again, I would try to stay here again. My husband and I preferred to try new foods on our trip, and therefore ate out for breakfast instead of eating what the hotel provides, so I cannot really comment on the quality of the breakfast selection or food.

Honestly, there's not much to complain about. The bed was a little firmer than I prefer, and that's about all I can think of. That's not their fault, though. It's just not my preference.

The cleanliness and nice staff was a plus. The food was exceptional, It was a peaceful and stress free stay. Hopefully I will return again one day soon. I also like the fact that it had a bar in the lobby area.

Breakfast was not included. It was a bit pricey, I am used to food being included in with the stay. The worst thing that happened was my key card deactivated during the stay which was not a problem at all because that was a very easy fix.

I had to be at a wake at 330 so I went to see if I could do a early check-in an the receptionist checked an she was nice an let me check-in early with my family..the next morning I went to get breakfast it was really good. I love the waffle maker an the coffee my family an I enjoyed the pool as well. I recommend this place I will return here again soon

Every employee is a sweetheart! Check in super easy, the 2 girls behind the counter were very approachable and were all smiles. I saw their interaction with other guests and it was probably the best customer service I seen at a hotel in awhile I get nervous traveling alone but i felt very comfortable here. The housekeeper was very sweet as well. I had no worries staying here. Very clean, which was what I was most concerned about. it's a 10/10 for me(:

Toilet made some noise in the night

Staff was very helpful and friendly, pool area was nice, breakfast had yummy choices, beds were comfy.

TV in our 1st room didn't work properly, they did move us to a new room on the second night to make up for that. TV with 2 kiddos is a must lol. On the site & on TV info for dining it stats breakfast is until 10am but they shut it down at 9am instead, not a big big deal but should update info.

The staff was very welcoming. They were willing to assist. Very understanding.

We are a basketball team traveling from Orlando Fl. We had 6 rooms and 4 rental cars. Two of our cars got broken into. Along with a couple of other cars. Maybe hotel owner should invest in cameras or outside security.

there was only 1 elevator to use for staff as well, it ran so SLOW and the SMALLEST I’ve ever saw 3-4 people MAX “with the cleaning carts you won’t fit” My room being on the third floor, times I just took the stairs instead of keep waiting

The location was great and the room was big and comfortable. The bed was nice and the room was clean

I didn't like the fact that the only Ice machine was on the 1st floor. Also there were not enough plug ins.

Great breakfast. Enjoyed it. Even tho i came a little after 9. I was able to have breakfast. The lady was very kind. Thank you.

The shower tub was clogged with hair. I had to remove it for free flow of water.

The pool was open and the kids were happy! Parents were happy when a man from the hotel came and closed the pool right at 8pm, parents didn’t have to be the bad guys :) Room was comfortable and as described. Quiet stay and no issues.
