SpringHill Suites by Marriott Memphis East Galleria

I loved the location. I wanted to be within 30 minutes of tours and attractions. But did not want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Memphis. Springhill Suites was perfect for my getaway. With resturants galore and shopping nearby for those essentials that you forgot to pack, this hotel was very convenient. I stayed here about 9 years ago and will be back soon.

I really would have preferred having drawers for my clothing. I don't like "living out of a suitcase" while on vacation. Also, the first night the pool was awesome. The last couple of nights, it had an overwhelming smell of chlorine. and the water had a white looking substance that looked like soap floating in it.

I liked the convenience of location to everything. The breakfast each morning was great and the hostess was very friendly. Room was a suite style so it was very spacious. Would stay here again!

There was a musty/smoky smell to our room. The shower pressure was not the best.

This hotel was very spacious, clean, and the staff was so kind. The indoor pool was opened (required 45 minute time slots with 6 people maximum) which was perfect time for my family. It allowed us to reserve a time, go feed our children, then arrive back for our alloted time. They had grab and go breakfast, but allowed you to sit down and eat in the dining area. Upon booking we reserved a room with one bed and a sofa bed, but was placed in a room with two beds plus a sofa bed. Definitely saved this place as we will stay here again when traveling.

No complaints.

Everything about our stay here was exceptional. Both ladies at the front desk were wonderful; professional, courteous, helpful. The lady who worked the breakfast station (which was excellent) was exceptional as well. The room was spacious, super clean and as I've stated with everything else about this hotel ... exceptional!

There wasn't anything I would complain about.

The hotel was in a safe/quite area with so many food options within walking distance. The entire hotel was clean and all of the employees we encountered was super nice and helped in any way to make our stay more enjoyable.

This hotel is located in a " Hospitality Row" type area with many different places available. It was very safe and quiet. It was right next to a mall and other local shopping if you needed something ( Walmart and Sam's club) and several places to eat. The staff was professional and courteous and above board on safety precautions for COVID-19. The room was very spacious with a desk area, fridge and microwave that also had a sink as well ( mini bar type set up). The bed's were comfortable and "sitting room" area was also roomy. Heather recommended great bbq in town! The bathroom area was well lit. The additional ceiling fan to circulate air through the room was a great bonus for comfort when it is muggy. They served a grab and go breakfast and offered fruit and dry cereal, and oatmeal. We stayed for 2 days

The couch was not a traditional pull out , but a trundle and the mattress was spotted and dirty. The bathroom area counter space was small and the lighting in the room was a bit dim. The elevator was very small, and could only fit maybe 4 adults with no luggage in it. The pool is very small in comparison to other hotel pools, there was 4 of us in the pool at a time, and it was just enough room for us to enjoy.

Clean room with a window that actually opened. It was more like an efficiency apartment but with more room. Even had remote controlled light/ceiling fan fixture. And it didn't smell funny.

Only dislikes: Housekeeping came knocking an hour before checkout. When I didn't answer, she just waltzed right in. Bathroom tissue felt like newspaper.

The staff was very friendly. The room was super comfortable and clean! Bed was comfy, the temp was perfectly warm already. We didn’t like how far it was from Beale St, we had decided to go brave the 19 degree weather and hang out down there for dinner. I would stay this property again no questions!
