Hampton Inn & Suites Tyler-South

The location is perfect! Plenty of parking. Within walking distance of most of the shops we like to go to. Very clean. For the most part, the staff is friendly. The exception is a few of the younger staff members.

Our only complaint is that the beds are not comfortable . We would stay longer, but we always have to shorten our trips because our backs can't take the hard beds.

Second time at this property. Great place, pool area is nice but wasn’t working. Staff is very professional. Everyone I’ve met here is nice and helpful. Nice shopping area & kids adventure park next door.

My original star was needing to be check in 4am and check out at 12am, but they couldn’t allow me to do that, they wanted me to check out 11am the same morning I arrived so I had to reschedule everything. Guy over the phone was the nicest and helped me cancel. I don’t remember his name but he needs a raise or something. I know the people there can’t change policy but for people traveling at all times this sucks and is a huge inconvenience. If the guy wouldn’t have been such great help it would have stressed our trip so much. Still very pleased with hotel.

Breakfast was “Grab and Go“ style. There was a good variety offered.

For the price we paid we expected a hot breakfast. The price should be adjusted if a hot breakfast is not offered.

Excellent breakfast, nice selection. The attendant was always alert and kept the eggs and sausage supplied when low. Layout was nice and offered the opportunity for some privacy.

The design of bathroom countertops where the counter overlaps the edge of the sink is an unfortunate and widespread problem. Mine was very dirty under the edge. Have someone in housekeeping check several and you will see!

Wonderful hotel! Great staff, located on a plaza full of shops and restaurant options. The room is spacious, bathroom was big enough with great water pressure. The hotel facilities are really great and parking is easy and convenient. Staff was super friendly and helpful!

It was a bit too out of the way from the Interstate depending where you're going to/coming from, but it was worth it!

The large room and comfortable room

.Pool and spa were closed. Previous use of room was not cleaned. Used qtip in desk chair and sock on ottoman. Ottomans looked dirty. Had a very dusty bathtub bench in bathroom which had a walk in shower. Walk in shower did not have enough safety bars.

Location was great. The breakfast was fine. I wish there was more to choose from.

The pool was closed. I was looking forward to the pool and it was disappointing to check in and find out that it wasn’t open.

the shower had a crack in the floor that was hard on the feet and the door didn’t look cleaned to the shower well the shower itself didn’t look clean

Hotel was very clean and staff was attentive The room was nice and cool when we came in from the hot car. The morning breakfast was good and I liked that it was open till a later time. (10am)

The cleanliness and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was okay. There was only one waffle maker and it was broken but usable. The location is amazing. We went to Urban Air, Escapeology, 5below one of the kiddos favorite stores, Studio Movie Grill, nail shop and so many other place all in walking distance.
