Hampton by Hilton Austin South - I-35 & Ben White

Breakfast was tastier than expected, and the lobby was spacious with lots of seating and a tv in each different areas. I liked the designated pet potty area and well stocked with bags. The beds were comfy, (bed was medium firm like I like it), the room was spacious enough for the dog crates, the a/c worked really well which was a bonus. The pool looked nice, but we didnt get a chance to swim. The woman who checked us in Saturday around 4pm was so friendly and pleasant. Great customer service. Wish I could remember her name.

The carpets on the 4th floor, (maybe that's a designated pet floor?) were pretty stained and tired looking. Only one of the 2 elevators was working, and it made for VERY slow elevator response to upper floors. There was a stain on the chaise lounge in our room, and the curtains were torn at one edge like someone tried to close them and didnt realize they were not full drapes.

Food was great especially the lady that served the food. She was so friendly and went out of her way to make sure that we had everything and that we felt comfortable. Your front desk (Angela) was awesome. I usually stay at the Omni, but that will change for my future stay at Austin. Angela is just great, friendly and very informative. I felt like family. I especially liked that fact that she talked and joked around with me like I was an old friend. Give her a raise.

Nothing to complain

Breakfast was good, staff was nice. Pool was not all that. Looked green and a lot of debris on the bottom. It was definitely not inviting and a little run down. Everything else was above good. Area a little sketchy but not reflection on hotel. Trash outside hotel was overflowing but due to short staff that day. Overall was a very good experience!

Pool area. Would like to see that cleaned up and maybe some new chairs or something

Breakfast was decent, typical motel quality. Hot oatmeal was unusual, nice. Shortage of fruit.

Elevator door had issues. Fitted sheets would not stay in place on beds. Some distance to any outside restaurants.

only had fruit it was good. we liked that the room was so clean and comfortable mattress and pillows. we got there about 10pm and was amazed as to how quiet it was. We were exhausted from the drive from South Padre Island and were able to sleep very well. the gentleman that checked us in at that time was very courteous and friendly.

I really can not think of anything that could have been better, other then in the morning the trash can in front entrance was over-flowing.

The breakfast is what you’d expect Was nice to get hot and a quick adequate breakfast

Well they have 2 elevators But one has been broken for 2 years Happy to see clear evidence that they are working to improve

the location was great and it was clean

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but the shower was very slippery and I fell in it. I can handle a few bruises but I’m worried about any elderly folks that fall. maybe a slip mat or something to help with that would be great.

I loved the breakfast. The staff was very helpful. I also enjoyed the availability of coffee, apples and tea in the lobby. I stay here whenver I visit Austin as I have family there. Thank you Hampton Inn!

Chelsea was very helpful in keeping us comfortable during the horrific weather. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was a great bonus during this time.

The hotel ran out of water for our last night due to the horrible weather. This was a disappointment but we realize that this was not the hotels fault.

Location was convenient and much better value than downtown. Free parking at this location and not downtown - I feel this should be included in room rate for downtown location Breakfast is back to normal and was good
