Austin Southpark Hotel

The hotel was great! it was clean, the room was spacious & the bed was so comfortable & big! I had a room with a bathtub & the shower was also great. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful & welcoming, I had an absolutely great stay! I will definitely be back 👍🏽 The location is a 10 minute cab drive from Downtown Austin & it’s really easy to get to. The price was also very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.

The only things I would mention is that the swimming pool wasn’t always super clean & it had small amounts of debris from the trees etc. but it was still swimmable. The last thing would be room service. I ordered it a couple of nights but I had to collect it from the bar. It was fine because my room wasn’t too far away but it would’ve been much more convenient to have it brought to the room.

Very nice accommodations, king bed, safe, small refrigerator. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prompt room cleaning daily. I particularly liked the Olympic size heated outdoor pool. Convenient to airport and access to Austin City. Security on premises. Alerted me that I left my car door open. Closed it for me so nothing was stolen.

There was no summary of hotel amenities in the room which is an otherwise standard feature of any hotel. There was no indication that I recall when booking that this hotel was now owned by Marriott. Hotel clerk helped me register for my Marriott Rewards points.

The staff was amazing, the hotel was always clean. The lobby was open and inviting. The pool was phenomenal. The rooms are nice and cozy.

The only thing that would’ve made our stay better is if the room had a microwave in it. Bedsides that. It was amazing

Great location. I like the convenience of the bar and restaurant. This was 3 long term friends (like for 50 + years), getting together, so very comfy for hanging out. I liked the late check out. Easy chair in my room not super comfortable. Bed was great.

This is hard. Could have used a microwave. There was no bag in the closet for dirty clothes, and no liners in trash cans. Honestly not that picky, but you asked!

room was very nice, clean, staff was very friendly, assisted me with printing what I needed for my next day. Would definitely recommend. I would definitely stay here again if the occasion arises. Did not use the food voucher so cannot attest to meal.

I enjoyed this property when it was underneath the Omni, happy to hear that Marriott is taking it over. I love the lobby, at the pool in my room had a great review. Loved the complementary waters in my room.

My bed was a little bit too soft, but still slept mostly comfortably.

Everything was great. I love the room I stayed in and it was clean and refreshing. The view of my room was good. The TV had good service and sound. I would rate is excellent.

I didn't like when I ask if I could have internet service. They said I have to pay for internet. I needed the internet so I can l login to my school for my assignment. I must have misunderstood when I looked at your advertisement saying there would be free internet wifi service,

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff was very friendly, pool area was great, and the location is within 15-20 minutes from anything you'd want to do in Austin and they have a very cool little bar in the middle of the hotel. I will be staying again.

Not too much of a big deal, but the walls are kind of thin, could smell my neighbors food.

Breakfast not included in the price Little but further from the city than I had expected Hotel could do with a refurb my room was very dated the bathroom especially the shower is a step in to bath shower very unusual for nowadays.

I wasnt impressed

The parking really sux. And the check in. The gsr made me use another card so I had to go deposit another 400.00 into another card when I had already put 400 in the card I reserved with and intended to use. Then she told me as a courtesy she would allow me to use the card she just made me go deposit to because it didn't have a chip. Ok. They also charge for breakfast. after charging the amount for that stay??
