Comfort Inn & Suites Texas Hill Country

The Comfort Inn and Suites is an older hotel, but was a great value. The room was clean, and the bedding and bed were great as I slept well under the lightly weighted comforter. There were some areas in the facility that needed attention: ashtray near Lobby elevator, conference room on first floor. However, there was great cleanliness in the breakfast area with staff on top of cleaning tables as soon as guests left, and keeping food items available following COVID protocols. Overall, a great value for a good, clean place to stay.

As mentioned, a couple of areas needed attention.

Beautiful hotel, conviniently located next to the hwy with Walmart/HEB around the corner, friendly staff, spacious rooms, breakfast was awesome (alot of hotels continue with bag/on the go breakfast) it was a pleasant surprise to have continental breakfast.

Parking was a bit awkward, I have a GMC Sierra and it was difficult finding a spot to ensure it wasnt in the way of passage. It would of been nice to also have a second exit on the opposite end of the property- leading to the frontage road- as the only entrance/exit was again a bit crammed for a larger vehicle.

While the breakfast food wasn’t phenomenal, it certainly was satisfying. Great banana nut muffins, yogurt, sausage patties, cinnamon toast, and orange juice. The scrambled eggs were ok, along with the pastry. Coffee was weak to us, but we’re coffee snobs. Room was clean and we never ran out of TP or soap.

The room is a bit close to I-10 so we could hear road noise throughout the night. It also gripes me when the staff at checkout won’t give me a paper receipt for my stay. Instead they promised to email it, but a day later I still haven’t received it.

It was our second stay with this hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I am always concerned about the comfort of the bed as I have a bad back. This was the first time that I slept in a hotel bed without waking up with back pain. The bed was perfect and super comfortable. Sue, the lady working the breakfast room, was phenomenal. Super friendly and helpful. She just brightened up the day.

I was disappointed that there was no Bible in the hotel room. Please bring them back.

It's not a fancy place, but everything about it worked out well for our needs. The breakfast was nice and the staff was great, The location is pretty convenient. The king room had plenty of space. The fitness center covered the basics.

Our room was on the first floor by the side door. It got loud at times in the morning when everyone was heading out, with the door opening and closing, trucks starting up, etc. But is not surprising given the room location. Any room with a better location, especially on an upper floor is not likely to have the same problem.

From the outside to the inside is a beautiful building! Everything was nice, clean and smelled good. The front desk receptionist was great at helping us out with booking and explaining times for housekeeping and breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and hot! The lady in the lobby was so nice helping my little girls make waffles and giving them some tips on making the best waffles in Texas 🥰 we had a great experience, we travel a lot and this place was a 5 ⭐️

Breakfast was filling with very good choices. Hot items too. The eggs and waffles were very good! Plenty of hot water in the shower and all the bed linens and towels were very clean! Room seemed very clean. Beds were comfortable.

Oh, one thing…our room did NOT have a USB port to charge our phones, like the room description said. Fortunately, I brought the wall plug-in and we were able to charge the phones with that. There were plugs at the bottom of the lamps, which were handy.

For the price, the hotel gave breakfast included which a lot don’t do. The bed was comfortable and the smell was smoke free and pet free smell.

The wifi was active but the connection was terrible. Loading circle and or screen was the only thing seen on my devices. The shower curtain doesn’t prevent the water from going through so it made a mess every time we showered, probably the reason it felt a bit humid in the room

The breakfast quality and choices were excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location had good access to town.

The location was a little bit difficult access coming from the north, due to only a small sign visible at an intersection of a side street off the larger road, butt having found it, the actual access to the hotel itself was quick.

The breakfast was good, and offered some hot food, hard boiled eggs, juices, yogurts, and Belgian waffles shaped like the State of Texas. The attendant in the breakfast room was fun and helpful.

Having potatoes as well as the eggs and sausage. The coffee didn't have much flavor.
