The William Boerne

Overlooks the Hauptsrasse of the Miracle Mile. Spacious with two hi-back chairs and foot stools. Decoration of the room was excellent. My partner and I disagree as to the comfort level of the bed. The bathroom exceeded my expectations; partner declared it gorgeous; I rated its functionality as very good (double doors, night light, walk-in shower had both fixed head AND hand-held head, extra towels, closet with moveable baggage rack, moveable hangers, hooks, large vanity area around sink, adequate plugs for appliances, more than adequate lighting, height of toilet adequate for mobility-impaired) Room functions included: thermostat was easily found and readable; lamps (3) had switches that could be found easily and were adequate for reading; each side of the bed had a multi-port USB charging outlet; coffee maker was a K-cup with excellent selection; ice bucket could accommodate 2ea 12-oz cans. Room was clean - no orders, floor immaculate, bathroom, outstanding, expendables (tissues, toilet paper) had back up inventory. Check-in/out was seamless.

No personnel on-site; a call to the “eMail”-ed number confirmed local help was “available” in case of emergent issues. Floor texture was slippery when wet. This occurred because there is no sill on the walk-in shower. An in-room refrigerator would have been useful. The ice machine needs a scoop.

Picture perfect rooms with a hospitality suite that more than met our expectations. One of the few hotels in the heart of Boerne. Eleven rooms, very quite with great balcony view. Close to food and shops. Contacless check in, check out made everything so easy. Ample parking with elevator to all rooms. We had four women with two queen beds. The room was very large so we never felt cramped. Excellent place to stay.

Could have used a fridge in the room, but the one in the hospitality room a few doors down filled our needs just fine.

The location was what drew us to book a room here and it did not disappoint. Centrally located to shopping and eateries. First impressions of the room were of a very upscale and classy hotel. It was very clean and had a great layout. I actually preferred the ease and seamless nature of the check in and check out process. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and plan on staying here again.

Room 200 ought to be the cheapest room. Street noise make it noisy, inside and out. Ambulances, teens in pick ups, and music from the bar made evenings unpleasant, inside or out.

The room was nice. Liked the hospitality room for coffee in the morning.

The walls were either very thin or our neighbors in room 10 were very loud talkers! Did not like that we could hear them for hours talking. Would have been nice if the restaurant below would have been open during our stay. I had asked for a 2pm check in that couldn’t be accommodated & considering it was raining, we would have liked to have gone to our room. It was only an hour early.

Very clean, one of the best hotel mattresses I’ve slept on, easy check in and check out, good location for walking to everything in town, helpful staff, and great environment.

Road noise is loud in the morning and finding the parking lot is a little tricky (due to where street sign is located, not the hotel’s fault).

We had a great stay at The William! The hotel itself is small and so lovely. The room was beautiful, comfortable and filled with all the free amenities we could need (several water bottles, a Keurig station, etc.). Additional free goodies were in the small “lobby” which was accessible at all times. And the location was PERFECT. Right in the heart of downtown within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, and a super short drive to places like the grocery store. The hotel is contactless, meaning we were given a code to enter our room and never had to do a lengthy check in/out process. All contact with staff was via text or call. And Sharon and Lindsey were SO helpful and attentive! From local recommendations to executing our personal requests, the service was impeccable.

We had some neighbors who were LOUD and could hear them clearly through the walls. Towels were surprisingly scratchy. Small detail, I know, but I hate hard, scratchy towels.

Access from parking. It isn't well enough marked to see from the street. The outside elevator in the back needs paint & perhaps a W painted on it so that one knows to use it. We thought it was an employee or freight elevator at first.

Good location, great beds, very clean, easy check-in and check-out. The salon was a nice touch.

Walls were very thin. I had to be extra careful no one heard our conversations and a vehicle passing by at night made me jump up thinking it was in our room. We requested early check-in and were told 1:30, yet at noon got a message it would be 3. It ended up working out for us due to inclement weather but this could have been an issue. Our room was the only one with no balcony and chairs to sit in.

Really cute rooms and the location was perfect to walk for dinner, drinks, entertainment….shopping too even though we didn’t shop. But at $330 a night would say it’s priced too high. Walls are a bit thin you hear neighbors talking so not the best nights sleep. There is no breakfast but they do have a complementary room with drinks. And the restaurant Cypress Grill downstairs (not associated with the hotel) was wonderful…food and staff!!
