La Quinta by Wyndham College Station South

Very friendly staff. Everyone greeted us, even the housekeeping staff. The lobby was very clean and modern. Great location off the highway near entertainment and food yet still very quiet. Main doors lock with key access only after 11. Firm but comfy bed. Good storage in room.

Rooms were not as clean, especially bathroom. Water stains/mold on shower curtain liner. Small dirt build up in corners on floor. Hair entangled in the towels. The breakfast was lacking. Standard variety of cold cereals and bread was ok but warm offerings consisted of waffle machine, biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs only. Only 1 juice available because the other 2 were out/broken.

The room was clean and had a good sized refrigerator. The breakfast was acceptable but was the same menu everyday. The air conditioner was very cold and the beds were comfortable. We didn't notice noise from adjacent rooms, so the wall insulation was good.

The pool water was green but apparently there had been a pump issue that they were working to resolve. Once I waited several minutes at the front desk to ask a question and no staff was around.

The breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and attentive. Absolutely loved the location.

Got my credit card bill and was charged more then what the young lady told me .Also, needed to visit my son again to help him with some home damage, but because there was a football game the next day. The price of the room was 3 1/2 times higher.

Clean room. We got to hotel very late and could not find any parking. A truck with a boat took up 5 parking spaces so we had to park at the restaurant next door. We asked about towing and they said if the car got towed they were not liable. I thought that strange. You had no parking and I was forced to park elsewhere. Everything turned out fine.

The room is large and clean--actually it is a suite with furniture like sofa and side table. The breakfast is simple but OK to fill stomach. The lodging fee is not high so I can say this hotel is economical but also cost-effective.

When I checked in the staff at the front desk talked a lot on their personal issues. I do not think this is a professional behavior. The location is a bit out of town

Beautiful hotel, room was clean and comfortable! Just want we needed. Mom traveling with two littles to see our older college kids! Pool was sparkling and perfect!! And the staff was amazing!

When I booked the website showed and said there was a hot tub which I was really looking forward to! And breakfast wasn’t great! But, all in all, great experience abd we will stay again!

College Station has a very unusual snow storm. The Desk Manager's replacement could not make it in during the storm and the she stayed "at her post" taking care of visitors. She took time to tell us which food outlets were close due to weather, which were still open, and gave instructions on how to get there safely. I could not have asked for better service!! We brought our dog along. He enjoyed the snow, which he had never seen before. He took care of all of his "business" and the motel had poop bags and stations available a various location around the facility. Our dog thanks you, too! The breakfast protocol had been modified due the the pandemic, but the staff had "goodie bags" at the ready for morning breakfast with plenty of hot coffee (caffeinated and decaffeinated) readily available.

My wife thought the bed mattress was too firm; I thought it was great. I did not care for the pillows; my wife thought they were great. Go figure! "Different strokes for different folks", as they say.

Check in process was extremely easy. Also, the entire place is brand new! Don't know if it was remodeled or rebuilt, but it was beautiful. Indoor pool was closed, but looked nice. Breakfast to go bags were given out at the front desk instead of a buffet due to covid. There were little dog walking aread with bags provided as well. The TV was nice and the bathroom was huge! There was also a chair and a desk in the room. You didnt have to touch the AC window unit - it was controlled by a thermostat on the wall. Housekeeping does not come unless requested due to COVID.

The shower was a little weird. The drain was covered by some long silver plate? It all of a sudden started backing up. While in the shower I had to pick up the silver plate thing and there was so much gunk underneath there I was like bleh! Granted, most of it was my hair, but still. It was weird.

Great customer service, Very nice and Clean hotel, I wish they still did breakfast. Maybe each guest had a certain to go have breakfast due to Covid. Or maybe limit breakfast to certain foods. Cereal. Milk, juice, Bagels, fruit, Waffles, bacon or sausage & have a staff member doing the serving.

We had to leave Saturday February 13th due to weather and getting back home to Louisiana. Are yall still changing me the full price, the hotel said I would only be charged for 2 nights.

Everything was fine with my room. Quiet. Clean. Great value! Bed very comfortable.

The strange smelling pile of dirty sheets in the hall on the floor as soon as the elevator doors opened that were there overnight. No bar soap available due to 'delivery back up'. Shampoo was offered for hair, hand and body washing.
