Canvas Hotel Dallas

I really loved the venue and facilities - the view was great and the room was nice and clean. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. I also really enjoyed the overall style and vibe of the hotel.

The one day I had breakfast, the food was great, however it did take an extremely long time to get the food (pretty sure this was due to lack of staff, the one staff member who was helping us was wonderful). Lastly my biggest complaint is the noise - the evenings were extremely loud, with the bass and music from the upper floors preventing me from sleeping and relaxing.

While this hotel might not be for everyone (it's sort of a minimal/industrial decor/vibe), we found it to be spot on! Very well done and quite fun. The rooftop pool was a bit warm (not surprising given that Texas has been experiencing temps well over 100F for weeks), but the associated bar was excellent. Same for the downstairs bar and the associated restaurant. The resto wasn't anything special, but for people (like us) who really didn't feel like heading out on the town after a day on the road, the resto was very much more than adequate. Staff were uniformly great. We'll definitely stay here again.

One room with 2 beds and a foldout couch fit my family of 5. Hard to find hotels that can fit us all in one room. staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the lobby was unique and fun and the margaritas from the bar were 5 ⭐️’s.

the location isn’t in the heart of downtown Dallas which may be a downside for some. Queen size bed is on the small for two grown adults. and being on the 5th floor by the elevators was loud and construction is happening on the roof right above the room. the walls are also on the thin side. our first night the people next to us were loud until pretty late.

I like the customer service. we had an issue with parking and they were so quick to resolve it and they our check in very easy. the hotel vibe was amazing. close to downtown around 10 minutes. this hotel is not quiet at all. to us it didn’t bother us because we were there for fun. so we enjoyed the pool and having options close by for chill drink. the noise didn’t bother us at all but if you are person who wants the room super quiet then it may bother you. they do have a white noise machine to help which is very kind of them.

Loved the loft rooms and the bed was extremely comfortable. The view from the rooftop pool was amazing.

The pool closed at 8PM each day, before dark and one of the things we wanted to do was swim at night when the sun was down to avoid the heat and enjoy the nighttime Dallas skyline. Since we had to swim in the sun, it would have been nice if there was some shade over part of the pool.

Location to the concert we attended was right around the corner. The staff was very helpful. Room was fantastic!!!!!! Old retro looking kuerig, microwave, and fridge in a beautiful mint green color. Beautiful artwork on the walls. Huge shower. Dining area in the room set up like a living room with two queen beds off to the side closed in by curtains. Beautiful skyline especially during the nights lite up as if getting ready for Christmas. We had a fantastic stay if I didn't have to go back to work I would have extended our stay.

I did not make it up to the rooftop for sight seeing or the social events they offered. I could not find the breakfast menu to order room service or even make it down to eat breakfast in Thier dining room but even with these little set backs I would gladly stay again!!!!!!

This was our first time staying here and we were very impressed. As soon as we got to the hotel we saw valet parking was available so we did that. We arrived early and asked the receptionist if we could leave our bags with her so we could go eat. She ended up checking us in early which was great. We stayed on the 4th floor and had a nice view of the city. The room was very clean and had plenty of toiletries. We loved the rooftop bar & pool. The views were great! We will definitely be back soon

I love the modern retro theme look, I loved the space, how fancy it seemed to me. Free parking, 2 minute walking distance to Gilley’s music venue and a really good pizza joint. Close driving distance to Deep Ellum. Wasn’t able to try out the bar like I originally planned, but will definitely come back to stay and try it out next time.

Rooftop pool & bar was closed, but for construction.

Had a pleasant experience with hotel and staff. Very accommodating, easy check-in and out. Restaurant and room were clean and decorated nicely. Free self-parking was nice. Typical downtown road construction nearby was easy to navigate with Google maps! Didn't visit pool area but did see it from elevator and it looked fun. I would book this hotel again.

Their was a worker named Cedric who was very courteous and very helpful. He helped us bring our bags in the hotel and also found us a refrigerator and microwave for our room. He was very knowledgeable of the "digs" of the hotel. The food all-be-it a little pricey was very excellent and worth the money. Service you received was very top-notch,from the door men in the rooftop bar to the servers in the restaurant, customer service is their number one priority to which they go above and beyond.

The bat staff was friendly just a little slow on service. We both ordered burgers while on the rooftop bar, although they were very flavorful, we ordered them well done and they came back very pink in the middle. Also just the fact you had to put in a special request for a refrigerator and or microwave. On their TVs they had an option for Chromecast that didn't work the whole time we were there and the selection of channels were minimum.
