Holiday Inn Houston Intercontinental Airport, an IHG Hotel

Checkin was quick and the staff very pleasant. The room was large, recently renovated by its appearance, very clean, and the motif was muted and restful. The Blue Dixie restaurant included in the hotel serves basically good pub food which is pricey compared to my precovid experience but no higher than elsewhere. The usual amenities are present - fridge, Kurig coffee machine, hair dryer , iron, large comfortable king bed, wall mounted HDTV, and lots of electrical plugs wherever you need them.

The property can only be assessed on JFK BLVD north which can create problems i approaching west along the feeder road . We had to circle back on other roads to get to the northern approach on JFK . Perhaps using GPS would have helped us . There is a very large parking lot that is well lit. The presence of a security guard circulating in a small cart might indicate a problem if he was not there. We did not feel threatened.

Hotel was booked last minute, late at night, due to last minute flight cancellation. So while we didn’t spend much time there, it was clean and comfortable. Despite the chaos and late hour, check in was quick and easy and desk clerk was very friendly and professional. Room was clean and beds comfortable

Location within the Airport. Easy access getting in and out of their parking lot. Nice parking area with security.

The maintenance is a little slack because there were multiple ice machines not working on different floors causing people to make longer walks and going to other floors hunting ice machines.

I guess the hallways were a bit dingy, but rooms were very nice and comfortable. The airport shuttle was extremely reliable and came every 30 minutes!

We had a 14-hour layover in Houston so we booked this hotel just for the one night without much expectation- we were pleasantly surprised! The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfy, perfect for a post flight sleep! The stuff was really nice too and the shuttle to and from the airport was a great perk!

Friendly staff ( special mention to Christina/ night shift ) very pleasant and good customer skill, room is spacious and clean all equipment works, big tv i stayed on the first floor Room 142 /Laundry sel service on the second floor. No public transportation nearby so i use Uber

the facilities are quite comfortable, it is close to shops and restaurants and especially the airport

the staff is not as friendly as expected, there was also no hair dryer, to have a microwave, coffee maker and iron, I think a hair dryer is more useful and is more commonly found even in regular hotel rooms

Meals have limited time for availablity.. Hotel shuttle bus in not 24 hrs. Only one towel in our room. No.water no anything in the rooms.

The amenities in the room were great, it was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

There was only one ice machine on my floor and on the exact opposite end of the building. The front desk button on the phone didn’t work. The lady checking me in was a bit curt but everyone else was very friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent for travelers, just about 10 minutes away from the airport. It has a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes.

I had to go to terminal C, but the shuttle driver said he only took people to terminals A and B.
