Wingate by Wyndham Humble/Houston Intercontinental Airport

Breakfast was pretty good. We loved the pancake maker. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Waffle House was right next door which was a treat. Walmart is just minutes away. Front desk staff was very friendly and very helpful.

We did have an issue the airport shuttle. We were not told that shuttle service only runs after 3pm and some family members arrive earlier but fortunately we weren't too far from airport so uber wasn't too bad. As I mentioned breakfast was pretty good, only complaint was that it was not enough so it ran out quickly.

THE STAFF, ESPECIALLY JOHN TREATED YOU LIKE FAMILY. THEY ACTED LIKE THEY HAD ALWAYS KNOWN YOU. JOHN WENT WAY BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY TO MAKE SURE ALL WAS GOOD, NO PROBLEMS AND SAFETY WAS A PRIORITY. HE TOOK THE TIME TO VISIT WITH YOU AND WAS VERY HELPFUL. HE CAME TO THE AIRPORT TO PICK ME UP TO TAKE ME BACK TO HOTEL. HE WAS VERY RESPECTFUL AND FRIENDLY AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE YOUR STAY THERE WAS ACCOMMODATING AND FELT LIKE A HOME INSTEAD OF A HOTEL. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN, BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE, NICE BREAKFAST AREA AND CHOICES OF FOOD. I WILL LOOK FORWARD STAYING THERE AGAIN IF I AM EVER RETURN IN TO THE AREA. THANK YOU SO MUCH JOHN AND YOUR INCREDIBLE STAFF. ALWAYS BE YOURSELF AND NEVER CHANGE.

Breakfast was varied, timely... practical and accessible. For intended purposes, it was great! Greg was phenomenal - great person to converse with, and overall pleasant. I was planning to leave to the airport sunday night (for a 0530 monday departure) because the shuttle's published hours are 0600-2300; Greg stated he would take me at 0400. I was able to get some sleep NOT on the airport floor, and make my flight back home due to his willingness selflessly help.

Not particulary relevant to the hotel, but to the area - anyone favoring running outside, there is limited sidewalk, so your pavement pounding is mostly on the street. Also, watch out for the sewer/manholes - more often than not, they were not covered.

I had a lovely time at this establishment. From the moment I arrived at the airport till moment I left, I experienced exceptional customer service. The Shuttle service was exceptional. I met the Hotel Manager. He was personable and very polite. I believe his name was Ronney. Lady W checked me in. She very kind and welcoming. My room was amazing. It very clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The bed was super comfortable. I sleep in quite a bit due to this. My stay was also very peaceful. There was not a lot of noise at all. I thought I was the only person on floor at first. It was just that quiet. The hotel was located in perfect spot. Waffle House was literally next door. GREAT food and customer service. I was able to Uber to and about from this hotel. I was 15 minutes from the Airport. I was 15 minutes from the Mall and 28 minutes from downtown Houston. The Uber was not too terribly expensive. Next time,I visit I will utilize Uber more. My stay at this establishment was a 4.9 out of 5 stars. I would definitely stay here again.

Shower- The only thing I can think of is the water, never got hot enough for me at times. The water was mostly medium in temperature. I still got a pretty shower in daily. I took my shower at a different time each day. The best time was early morning or late evening. The water was jalapeños hot! Loved it!!

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed, this hotel exceed my expectations. Cleanliness 100% Generosity from every employee 100% They have free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Big room, with a microwave and refrigerator. Delicious complete breakfast. I would definitely book here again.

The only comment I have is with the shuttle service, there was alot of traffic nearby, so it took like about 40min to pick me up at the airport. They may consider being minutes earlier to receive the guests.

The breakfast was good with hot & cold items on the menu, ready early in am. The location is great, very convenient for travelling out of Houston George Bush international airport, shuttle available. Easy access to city with car. Friendly & helpful staff.

The facility is a bit dated and requires an upgrade.

The location is conveniently close to IAH. There is a handy free shuttle—you just call the hotel when you arrive at the airport and they send the shuttle to pick you up. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hot breakfast was decent: pancakes, yogurt, coffee, bagels, etc.

The grab bars in the shower are loose. Seems like an accident waiting to happen.

Staff is very friendly. polite and empathetic. Definitely one of the best economical places I would recommend for stays near IAH airport. Also, nearby restaurants are good and accessible.

The in-room water bottles, food and drinks addition would be great even if on paid basis. The breakfast options could have been better too. But nevertheless good overall experience.

Room was bigger than expected, front desk staff was always available

My room key was disconnected at the end of every day and I had to go fix it before entering the room each time. I got room service even when I said I did not want it (not bad but also did not comply to my requests)
