Tru By Hilton Longview

New build so it is still in good shape. Area is quiet and very close to shopping and dining options. We also appreciated it being close to Longview High School (we were in town watching our hometown high school baseball team play Longview in the playoffs) and needed to stay the night. Therefore, I would recommend this location for anyone needing to stay in a hotel for events at Longview High School.

Just slightly irritated by the young man who checked us in. He did his job but was listening to a video on his phone and was responding to it facially and with laughter while he was waiting on us. Just felt like we were second on his priority list.

Room is large! Lots of space to move. Great natural light and lamps. Hot water was quick and plentiful. Water pressure was good. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. I didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel but the coffee was very good. Service and amenities were excellent. 10/10 will stay again

Staff was a 10 all the way around. Clean location and breakfast was good everyday. Lobby was business and family friendly.

Ice machine was out of service on 1st floor. Had to go to 3rd floor for ice. Not that it hindered stay.

The size of the room was great. The bath facility and amenities were wonderful. The space for luggage was more than ample. And the breakfast was delicious and Satisfying. The staff at the desk was extremely helpful.

There was no freezer in the little fridge, and that's just me being picky.

Loved the atmosphere. Really enjoyed the foosball tables in the lobby and the outdoor patio area was a hot spot. Location is right behind a Walmart, so yes, a better view would have been nice, but having Walmart so close was a perk. Bed was comfortable! I really liked the idea of having the bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner on the wall, like on a cruise ship, but they were very hard to squeeze. The decor was very appealing. Also, they had a chalkboard across from the elevator that people could list attractions or suggest good food nearby.

Two things I need in a hotel room, comfortable bed and good water pressure. Bed was comfortable, but the shower pressure was terrible! Almost trickled out and therefore, took way too long to shower!! Absolutely the worst shower I’ve ever had.

Great location. Nice clean property.

No swimming pool. For the location to be a Hilton with no pool. Is not a great way to hold up the name.

Not ideal or convienent location if depending google maps to get u there. The entrance on the front side should be more visible and acknowledged b4 u pass it. Bc once u Miss turn (bc of one way) you have to wrap back around thru the back side of Walmart's parking lot. .. better entrance and signs would help tho. On plus side walmart is right there out the back door of hotel.

Jus the convienece of location not really anything that I didn't like.

the check in staff female on the night shift was very rude . the young man was super nice and friendly, he deserves a raise.

Clean, food was edible

No soap in sjower. The containers are disgusting. Soap container in shower was empty. Smsll soaps are more sanitary.
