Drury Plaza Hotel Dallas Richardson

While our car was our primary mode of transportation, we were very happy that the Hotel’s location was so close to the local transit system which took us right to our desired location downtown.

We love staying at Drury Inns and whenever we have the option to stay at one while traveling we are always sure the choose them. If we had to name something that could have been better for us this trip, it would perhaps be the quality of the coffee that was available during our very early morning checkout (before breakfast was served) as it tasted like it had been sitting around for a very long while. This is a very minor criticism, but it did result in our having to find somewhere to get coffee before we hit the road for our long drive home. All in all, it was another excellent stay and the friendly, helpful staff, well appointed rooms and outstanding amenities were very much appreciated.

This hotel has no complaints from me, only praise. When you stay in Texas you want a clean, cold room with comfortable beds and that’s exactly what we got. The property is also right off the highway (be prepared for a little traffic noise), so easily accessible to jump right on and go several directions to eat and play. It’s a really beautiful hotel as well. The icing on the cake for us was the staff. We were there for a little getaway to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The entire staff wrote us sweet messages on a card and gave us a nice little gift. Such a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be choosing to stay here again.

The hotel was spacious and very clean in the common areas. The breakfast was plentiful and top notch. The hotel was very quiet, and it was a bonus having an after hours restaurant onsite.

In our room the fabric edging on bottom box spring needed to be cleaned, especially on the side between the bed and night stand. It was stained, had a slight smell, and looked like someone had spilled something on it. Then you could see under the fitted sheet several hairs between the sheet and the mattress coverings. But the rest of the room seemed clean and was comfortable.

Very comfortable and clean room. Hot breakfast daily included in price, more unusual is that a hot dinner and three drinks in the evening is also included! also the clean, well-lit, built-in gated key access parking garage with elevators that go right to your floor was incredibly nice

it is unfortunate that this fantastic hotel is right on the intersection of US 75 and President George Bush Tollway, as it created a constant roar of traffic noise that is really impossible to drown out. Also, if you’re of a paranoid or skittish nature, you should know that the room doors were close enough together that if i was in the bathroom and my neighbor arrived or departed their room, it sounded like someone had entered mine.

I love this property. The beds are so comfortable , everything is so clean and tidy and the whole hotel smells amazing. Free private parking, beautiful and clean rooms, amazing staff, we were able to ask for a late check out for free. Staff is very friendly and helpful and make you feel welcomed. This was my second time staying with them and they’re always top on my list.

The price is a tad bit overpriced for the location, it’s the same price as any downtown location, yet it is far from the city. Also, the breakfast is a very small selection but it’s still alright.

This is a wonderful building. Very clean. Great location. Very nice outdoor, heated pool and hot tub. Tons of space and seating for breakfast and happy hour. We didn’t use the on-sight restaurant, so I can’t speak to that. Breakfast was excellent - pancakes, waffles, biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, juice, coffee… Free Happy Hour and hot food in the evening was excellent - soup, salad, sliders, nachos, hotdogs, drinks… Popcorn in the lobby.

Noise. The only negative we experienced. The building is not built to be quiet. We were on the 6th floor - first floor of hotel rooms. 2nd - 5th floors is parking. From our room we could hear people honking their horns to lock their cars. And the Interstate interchange is very close so there’s highway noise. Hallway noise was frequent too. And finally, our particular room was not quiet because of the pool location - right outside our window (avoid 6th floor odd room numbers to keep from this - we stayed in 615). The chairs for the pool were literally against our room’s windows. Other rooms/floors would not have this problem. This was truly the only negative. The hotel itself and the staff are fabulous.

Very nice property with a good selection of free food and drink at the evening event. And also at breakfast. Very good value. Nice sized rooms. Comfortable beds. Very good shower.

Property is right next to major freeway intersections. Requested a room away from elevators so it would be quiet which was met however the noise from the traffic was incessant. Only reason I will not stay at this location again. Booked the Frisco location for my return trip. Hope it’s not as noisy.

Everything! They offer a free happy hour with food and drinks. The breakfast was great. I want to give a BIG shout out to Rebecca. She went above and beyond to make our stay great and was absolutely the kindest person I have ever been greeted by at a hotel.

This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Finding something to not like is hard, but if i have to... the shower head. Water pressure was a bit low. But that's honestly it.

The staff was so friendly. They had a popcorn machine and coke machine complimentary. The pillows and the bed in the room were so comfy and soft. The restroom was huge and had a dispenser in the shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The room was very big and roomy. We had a microwave and a mini fridge. They have a heated pool that lights up at night on the 6th floor outside, with a hot tub nearby and a good size patio with lots of clean towels. There is central heating and air in each room. It was quiet at night. They had breakfast in the morning with more choices then I have ever had. Fresh made pancakes, Texas waffle machine, eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal and lots of cold items like bananas, apples and oranges or bagels or toast. The drinks offered was juice, coffee, coke or water. It was the most restful stay I've had in years.

I have no complaints. They did great!

Always enjoy the Drury breakfast, though adding some variety from time to time would be welcomed.

This particular properly was close enough to the freeway that you could hear the traffic pretty well. Ended up moving to a room on the opposite side of the freeway noise for a better sleeping experience.
