Hampton Inn & Suites-Dallas/Richardson

The staff is pleasantly friendly, rooms were exceptional, and the room service being on our schedule is something amazing that I have never encountered before! The location is just outside the main part of Dallas, allowing things to be quieter and more relaxing when we aren't going out to do things.

Being outside Dallas made about a half hour drive to any of the places we were interested in, but the drive isn't to bad as long as you don't encounter to many accidents.

Average breakfast and location is not too far from Cityline and the highway. Hotel was clean and it was fairly quite throughout the night. The layout of the room.

Fresh towels can be offered daily at least. The night staff was off doing something instead of being at the counter when guess arrive after the doors lock. Waited for like 5 minutes for someone to realize that I was trying to enter the building to check in.

The rooms and the pool were great. So was the breakfast and the front desk staff. The location is very quiet but near great places for travelling in the Dallas area. The beds were super soft, and the room was very clean. They are great about giving you any extras you need for the room at the front desk since they don't do daily turn down unless requested.

The ac being out in the halls throughout the hotel, they did say they were "working on it", but it lasted the length of the stay and outside being over 100 all weekend REALLY made it hot in the halls. Also I did not know about the incidental fees while booking thru booking.com for the hotel. That would be nice to have mentioned or added to the final charges while making reservations.

. The breakfast was great as it isn't just a cold breakfast. It was a hot nice meal to start you day. The room was cleaned and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly.

The only thing that I wish is the curtain in the room. There was no darken (thicker curtain above the heating/cooling system) instead it was the white sheer curtain which is not good to block the sun

There were some minor things that were broken or in need of repair - light fixture in bathroom had a crack in it, back of the bathroom door had scuff marks, tile in one of the elevators was broken and had tape on it. Called down to front desk to ask about wifi password but no one ever answered the phone, called twice. Breakfast lacked flavor.

The room was ok clean for the most part had issues with my toilet but over all Good. The housekeeping staff was really nice and the breakfast was very good and the attendants keep everything replenished clean and hot😊😋👍🏾

When I checked in the front desk personal was not very welcoming, no eye contact no friendly greeting just said what he had to say and have us our room key.

Food, location, beds, cleanliness, and gym was great. Courtesy front desk and service staff.

Open curtains - prefer blackout curtains. The thin sheer curtain left me feel exposed and being a solo traveler, I didn't like that, plus it times I would to sleep in and couldn't due to the sun beaming on the room.

We ate the breakfast three mornings. Each day there were different items put out…the hot foods were hot. The cold food was cold….all well cooked. It was a great way to start our day!

We did not like not being able to shut the draperies in our room. There is a bright light just outside which kept the room quite bright overnight.

Treyvian, the hotel clerk, was incredibly friendly and made sure we had our towels. Before he got there we had asked twice and never gotten them and the man I asked wasn’t very nice about it. I guess Mr. rude left Treyvian with no towels and dirty floors because he was working so hard to get everything done! Thanks for making our stay pleasant!

The $25 a night per room deposit (we stayed two nights and had two rooms) was unexpected but it fell off a couple days after checkup.

Safe area (not much to do, though), Room has a good size, Hampton standards are met. Train station is about 10 minutes walking distance away, that's nice.

Could have been a little cleaner (bathroom).
