Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Waco North

The hotel is good for a night in Waco. Friendly staff, nice rooms. Breakfast included and sufficient. Small little indoor pool available. Free and sufficient parking spots available.

Breakfast is kind of a "mess". A lot of rubbish is generated with all these plastic cutlery and plates. We had a room just close to the elevator and just above the main entry of the hotel. Some other very friendly guests were quit loud during the night just in front of the entrance... Very annoying.

Clean space. Everything worked as it should. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Great location with easy on and off I-35 and close to downtown. Has indoor pool and a fantastic breakfast with lot's of options.

Bed was a bit firm for my liking. Not the worst but definitely not the most comfortable. Pool is not heated so it was pretty cold.

Great location and friendly well trained team. You can tell it’s a great environment because everyone was everywhere helping and showing each other serfdom parts of the job.

I booked the wrong property in proximity to my job. Definitely not their fault!(smile)

The air conditioning did not work in the first assigned room. We were immediately moved to another room. Everything was very clean. The breakfast choices were all delicious - including scrambled eggs, bacon, Canadian bacon, and do-it-yourself waffles. Each member of the staff we came into contact with was extremely helpful and had a sincere smile on their face.

The only drawback, and this is no fault of the hotel's really, is the proximity to the I-35. This makes it easy to get in and out of the hotel, but if you're a light sleeper, the traffic noise can be bothersome.

Rooms were clean. Loved the AC...you could freeze ice in our room. Shower was excellent. The food choices were great...lots to choose from. The staff kept everything stocked. If you needed something just ask. We were surprised we did not hear the roadnoise being so close to the freeway.

The facility and rooms were super clean. The breakfast was great! Freshly made and not grab and go bags. The staff was prompt and tried their best to meet our needs and accommodations.

First, we had issues with our room and the toilet not working properly. They moved us to another room then we had several billing issues from being double to triple charged days later. Thankfully, the general manager took care of it but it definitely made the stay unpleasant as it took away some of the trip money for day spending. I would book online and NOT pay at the counter next time. Give them a separate card for your deposit or hold.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was amazing. The manager there accommodated me to the fullest extent.

Had some property stolen out of the company pickup even with it being close to the front door. No cameras on outside of building to keep unwanted soliciting people away from property. That's Waco in general.

the continental breakfast was good.

there was no vent fan in the bathroom and there was evidence of moisture and bubbling of the paint. I did find that the carpet was not thoroughly vacuumed. also found a soiled bath towel in the closet.

The shower had been upgraded and looked nice- full walk-in (no tub) in the king bed room. Love!

My room was right on the end of the hallway and near the interstate so I could hear the road noise all night. The bed was super firm, which I don't like (though I know others do) so I had a rough time getting comfortable.

This was a good location to everything in the area. The staff was very friendly and the room was great.

There is a lot of road construction in the Waco area now so made getting around tricky. This is not the Hotels fault but affected our daily plans on how to get places to bypass the construction and back up traffic.
