Abbey Inn Cedar City

I liked everything. The lady at the front desk was the kindest girl ever. She welcomed us with a big smile on her face and explained all the things we needed to know with great enthusiasm. I really appreciate this kind of details. The premises are renovated and decorated with style. The room was pretty large and equipped with a lot of services to make your stay just perfect: heating, AC, a lot of space for baggage, lots of sockets, iron, microwave, fridge, kettle and so on. We used the heating because it was really cold outside (it had snowed the day before) and I have to say that we were well protected against the freezing night . It is a very quiet area, ideal for resting after a long day. Breakfast offers a wide variety of quality options. Cedar City was just a stop on my way to Arches National Park, and it turned out to be extraordinary. I would definitely come back to the town and to this hotel.

Believe the good reviews- I normally stay in Marriotts and was planning on staying at the Courtyard but they were full so I was looking at the different options on Booking and this one caught my eye. It was pretty much cheaper than the Marriott and had better reviews so I decided to go with it. Such a cute, very comfortable and clean local Inn!! I stayed here with my service dog and the bed was so comfortable that I slept so well!! It was also very quiet- we stayed on the back side of the building away from the road and it’s on a nice residential street with pretty views of the mountains in the distance. We will definitely stay here on the way back!

Conveniently located, Abbey Inn provided the perfect landing spot during our week-long travel. The facilities are lovely-- modern and very clean. Parking was very convenient and free, the beds were very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and included which was a very nice perk! We didn't use the pool but noticed that was very nicely appointed with lounge chairs and plants. The laundry facilitates were a huge plus and we took advantage of that! Overall, great stay.

The shower could use little more pressure. I only bring this up because we had been camping for a week and looking forward to a nice shower. Aside from that very small thing, everything exceeded our expectations.

Friendly, helpful hotel staff at the front desk. Provided excellent suggestions for a great place in town to eat a good dinner. Centro Pizza was our choice and it was amazing! Our room was clean and very nice. Decent breakfast in the morning before we hit the road again. The only complaint I would have is that the air conditioner was extremely noisy. We turned the fan on low and it helped a bit, but it still sounded like a wind storm all night. May want to consider updating the air conditioning units in your rooms, Abbey. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and were grateful for a nice clean room.

Noisy air conditioner referenced above. Sounded like a wind storm was blowing all night. I would have turned it off but the temperature outside was nearly 100 degrees and so we had to run the air conditioner.

The rooms were clean, dark and very quiet, despite being in a busy area. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. they looked directly in your eye and we’re genuine. Abby Inn breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel of this level. located in a residential house behind the hotel, the breakfast room felt like eating at your aunts house with a home made breakfast.

the hotel is located in a busy area with lots of hotels, fast food and gas stations right on top of it. it felt crowded. fine for driving though but not what I would pick if I were staying in one place for an extended time.

The place was perfect. We got 2 connected rooms for our family. everything was clean and we had all we need in the rooms. Our parking was near the door, very comfortable with the kids. The breakfast was great!

The shower faucet was relatively low, less comfortable for tall people. And another thing not really related to the place, but important to know, we came back from hike with wet shoes at night, out of innocence we left the shoes outside the room. Someone stole one pair of shoes from us. Just gone by morning. Not nice... but it's important to recognize in my opinion.

I think this is the best managed family hotel I've ever experienced. Not fancy, but *everything* is thought through and carefully considered. A favorite: setting up QR codes for housekeeping and breakfast staff so we can leave a tip when we don't have cash. It shows they care about their employees, which matters a lot to me.

Not clear if they're doing anything to promote recycling, but other than that, all was very good.

When I arrived I got a friendly and efficient greeting at the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable. Although the breakfast choices were fairly standard, they seemed fresher than other places I've stayed and they had the area well staffed so everything was kept up and felt much less self-serve than other properties. Thank you for that! The location is also excellent with multiple gas stations close by and choices of food from drive-thru to sit-down-diner type places within walking distance.

Best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. The room was well organized, very clean, and up-to-date without being overly "modern" in styling. Hotel staff at check-in and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Internet was easily accessible and the TV had a good variety of channels.

Everything was great. There wasn't anything that left me wanting more. We will stay here again next time we are in the area.

Super clean, all of the staff we ran into were super friendly, and a convenient location just off the freeway and close to Zion! The room was especially quiet, the beds comfortable, the breakfast buffet included eggs, bacon, cottage cheese, apple and orange juice, etc. Just very thoughtful with something for everyone. And the price was GREAT!
