Best Western Town and Country Inn

Nice rooms! Very clean and kept up. If I have to stay here again, I definitely would. They have a laundry room! Nice pool & hot tub. The breakfast was amazing! Me & my family were here for my nephew's college graduation at SUU. We only planned on staying one night but ended up booking a second night in both rooms & the staff made it very easy to do. We were able to keep the same rooms next to eachother. Love the atmosphere. The lighted trees outside are beautiful.

Not a big deal but our keys did need to be re-activated a couple times but we were close to the office & the staff gave us new keys that worked just fine. Only took 2mins or less. The staff was very nice and efficient when doing so. Like I said, not that big of a deal, it happens when you travel.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The inn was very quiet, and close to shopping as well as the Shakespeare Festival.

The stairs in the back corner were stained and really dirty. The ice machine in that same corner produced ice with a "refrigerator" taste - so we had to use the ice machine near the front of the motel, which tasted fine. Please change the filter in the back ice machine! The bathroom grout is getting a bit old, too.

pool seemed to be closed for my entire stay (few days) unsure if it’s just not summer time yet but seems hot enough that should be open (March) unless they were fixing something, I didn’t know that ahead time only found out after I show up, would’ve been nice to know but no big deal.

The Breakfast was very good and everyone liked it a lot. The kids loved the swimming pool. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well maintained.

Swimming pool was a little too cool. They didn't make the beds up each night which is more common with a lot of motels now. I was fine with it, but I would have preferred that they tell us that they would clean the room but not make beds. They I would have known and would have made my own bed. Which is what I did the later nights. Also there was a piece of the bed frame in Room 136 that was sticking out and my wife stubbed her foot on it. I should have told management about it, but forgot to. Just a maintenance issue.

Breakfast was great- unique with Empinadas. Staff was very courteous. Room and grounds were well kept.

Some street noise and parking lot noise as heavy equipment operators were staying at the hotel at the same time- equipment was very loud. This certainly has no bearing on the staff or property. Recommendation to future travelers- just ask for a room that is not next to the street if necessary- really, it was just a minor annoyance.

Room was large and comfy. Good shower and vanity area. Lighting in room was very good. Pool house was outstanding for grand kids, they loved it. Location excellent and close to many good restaurants. Breakfast was very good but scrambled eggs were salted and too salty. Leave the salt for customers choice. Ruined perfectly good healthy scrambled eggs.

Direct TV was out our entire trip without any explanation or phone call from management. Plus the remote did not work hardly at all. Phone and clock were both non working. We have stayed here several times over the last several years, it is our favorite in Cedar City but we did notice that the rooms and grounds seem neglected and are not being kept up. Hope that changes. The non slip in the bath tub is so worn out that it was very slippery in the tub, very hazardous.

The beds were comfortable. Breakfast offerings were good. We enjoyed the outdoor patio to eat breakfast or relax. The pool and hot tub area was clean and well maintained. The cleaning crew was exceptional.

The cable TV was not functioning throughout our 5 night stay. It seemed curious that it was not remedied.

Our room was on the Main Street side of the hotel. If I hadn't worn earplugs, I wouldn't have gotten much sleep. I think next time I'll try to get a room on the inner side. Still, we will stay in this hotel again.

I originally reserved 2 rooms. A week before I cancelled one room because our traveling partners got COVID. I was still charged for the room, some slip up between BW and Booking. com. Waiting for credit to show up.

The location was perfect for the things we were in town for. Walking distance to Historic downtown, a few restaurants, shops

Would have liked an outdoor pool rather than indoor. A few dark hallways that could have used a bit of cleaning.
