The room was extremely comfortable and breakfast was tasty. So happy it was pet friendly. The free breakfast and those delicious waffles made up for the $100 I paid for the night for 2 pups :).

The backdoor worked the first time with our room key however not the second time. With 2 pups and arms full of bags, my boyfriend waited by they backdoor while I went back around to the entrance at the front of building. The Front Desk Guest Service Agent says it sometimes doesn't work because it gets too hot with the outside heat. She said Engineering checked on it several times and there isn't anything they can do about it. I think there is an opportunity to shade the panel from the direct sun so it's still accessible to use. We witnessed several other Guests experience the same.

Practical location for access to I-80; near hospital. Nothing charming about location next to Walmart. Quiet though, good breakfast, good clean room. Expensive, but I find most hotels in SLC are very expensive. Management could replace/repair the luggage carts as they are rattletrap and aren't a very welcoming entry to the hotel. Be aware that from our location near Sugar House area Google Maps takes you on a fine route to the hotel but the last leg is on a street that Walmart has almost completely appropriated for their back loading dock.

Nice in room amenities, full kitchen and fridge, lots of storage and counter space and larger than regular hotel room, comfortable bed and the air conditioning worked really well on a very hot week. The breakfast was good, plenty of options. Location was right next to a Walmart you could walk to it. Pool and hot tub were nice size and though we didn't use it there was a small gym and laundry facilities. Very clean and modern hotel, highly recommend.

Room 419 (and probably 319) that we got for the first night is right by the engine room and the noise made it impossible to sleep. We got move to another, smaller suite in the morning and it was ok.

The big fridge and the amenities in the kitchen. Loved the how big the room was and all the storage options.

The loud music coming from another room from 9ish until 1230 am. That was very frustrating. We booked this room to get away and actually sleep from our 2 year old lol so not being able to sleep until super later was frustrating. Never have had music playing at a hotel before.

The room was nice, large and well appointed. It was pretty good value for a family to stay. The facilities were clean and well kept up. Although we didn't use much, there were dining impliments, microwave, fridge and even a dishwasher which would have been nice had we been staying more than a single night.

The included breakfast ended at 9:30, and although we got the family down there around 9:10, and were out of oatmeal. They declined to make more, saying "it takes about 30 min to make and breakfast ends in 20 minutes". This was a bit frustrating since they could easily have some instant oatmeal available as well.

I loved many things about Home2 Suites. The room was spacious with plenty of space for office space and relaxing space. The bed was comfy. The decor and overall design were appealing and updated. The hot breakfast came with multiple choices: beautifully folded omelet, sausages, hot oatmeal with dry fruits, nuts, and brown sugar for toppings, yogurt, mini pastries, and typical choices of beverage. It was a great way to start the day.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay here! The bed was comfy, the room was clean and had lots of nice touches, especially for the price. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. We stayed with our pets, and there were plenty of other pets around as well- very welcoming.

No complaints!

The room was very clean and comfortable. We especially like the location near the hospitals and good places to eat. The lady Regan I think was very nice when we checked in. The two people that were working when we went down to breakfast and then checked out could not even look up when we asked a question. It takes very little to be nice!!! I know working with the public is not always easy. I did it for years. Ge a different job if you can't be civil. However very nice place to stay and we will definitely stay again. Thank you!

The room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The views were also incredible. When I arrived the room I requested wasn't ready, but the team hustled to get it done and it was worth the wait. We had a corner room with extra windows which really made the stay more comfortable for us, especially because we did have to work from the hotel room a couple days, so the extra space and windows helped us feel less cramped.

Parking was sometimes difficult, I didn't expect a hotel to be so crowded in the middle of a pandemic, but the parking some evenings was hard to find. There is extra parking under the hotel, but I didn't find it till the last day. Better signage or communication might have helped.
