SpringHill Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Sugar House

The staff was so friendly and helpful! The room was clean and well stocked and the location was great! We appreciated the underground parking in light of the snow storms that came through (always nice when you don’t have to dig your car out). And we enjoyed the gym and the pool/hot tub. And the trundle extra bed was SO much nicer and more comfortable than the fold out couches elsewhere. All 5 of us slept beautifully! We come to Salt Lake often and we will DEFINITELY be back!

we ended up in a room with a door that was off kilter, so there was a gap at the top, but it locked fine and it was down at the end of the hall, so it didn’t end up being a problem. just something they may want to know about so it can be fixed. the light coming in didn’t bother us, but future guests may mind.

Your front desk associate, went above and beyond her responsibilities. I had difficulty with my reservations and she took it upon herself to research the problem and was able to corret the problem and made sure I was not charged for the error!!! I don't remember her name but she helped us at about 5pm Oct 21 at the Sugar House location.

Lighting was v ery poor

We were caught unexpectedly in a snowstorm while I was there to bring my daughter home from college. Both the maintenance man and the front desk worker went above and beyond to help us get our car out of the parking lot. We had a long drive ahead of us and did not look forward to waiting for everything to be plowed, but they were exceptional and helping us get on our way.

I couldn’t have asked for anything to be different. The room was extremely clean which was very gratifying.

clean spacious room including bathroom; proximity to park, eateries, shopping even a movie theater. Many within 3-5 min walk! Free wifi, parking and breakfast

no outdoor area to sit and soak up sun

We were there for a doctors appt and a surgery, so it was very convenient to the sugar house health center. I loved the room we were in, it was for handicapped, which I am. Also with the weather bad we could park in the park aid and take the elevator up to our room so didn’t have to be out in the weather. And our room was straight across from the elevator which was great because I have a hard time walking.

Can’t think of anything except of course it is always nice when things don’t cost as much.

blasts of cold air from unit next to the bed, shower barely trickled, no grab bar in shower, very low toilet, cheap t.p.

An excellent hotel. Clean and nice looking. The room was not so big, but we felt pretty comfortable. All we need was available. The woman from reception was very nice, friendly and helpful. We asked for an extra blanket, and she brought it by herself.

The semi-transparent door to the bathroom looks interesting until someone from your family decides to use it at the night. Since the door right in front of beds, there is no place to hide from the light. The hotel is located next to the highway. It's quite noisy at night. However, the neighborhood itself safe, and there is a nice park right across the street.

the only problem was that it wasn't brought out at the time listed, which was 6:30. one morning it was 20 minutes late, and the next morning, about 40 minutes late. it was inconvenient, as i had to keep returning to my room, but i wondered for people on a tight schedule if it could be a bigger issue.

Warm welcoming front desk personnel. Room was comfortable and immaculate. Great shower with adjustable shower head. Easy access to Cottonwood Canton for hiking.

The property is perfectly situated to enjoy the Sugar House revitalized area. There are many unique and delicious places to eat within walking distance.

I prefer a softer, more comfortable couch.
