Holiday Inn Manassas - Battlefield, an IHG Hotel

We had stayed here last time we flew back to the US at Dulles Airport. The beds were so comfortable, we decided to do it again and got a great night's rest after a long journey. The bathroom was spacious and very clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We first checked into a room that smelled significantly damp, but it was no problem to move to another one and got breakfast comped for our trouble. The food here is actually restaurant quality, but not included in the price of the room.

We had been on flights all day and needed a place to stay near Dulles. I'm so glad we picked this one. Not an exaggeration, this is the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. We felt so well-rested in the morning. The room was spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. The provided toiletries kept us from digging everything back out of our luggage. We paid extra for breakfast downstairs, but honestly it was just as good a meal as we could have gotten in a restaurant so it was definitely worth it. All in all, this was the perfect spot to recharge our batteries after a long journey.

The room wasn't cleaned thoroughly, and I called the front desk to make them aware of the situation. The first time I've been in a room and found fake eyelashes on the nightstand, I took a picture of the lashes on one of my Clorox Wipes. There was food on the floor so I know the carpet wasn't vacuum, and the amenities that are usually in the bathrooms were not replaced.

The staff was wonderful, especially the overnight front desk gentleman, very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. the room was large and the bed was very comfortable… the tv was oddly small considering the size of the room. otherwise it was a very nice room and a good price.

I was a bit concerned about the safety of my car in the parking lot l- but it was well lit and turned out there were no problems.

We always choose this Holiday Inn! The staff is helpful with reservations, The hotel is always clean and smells fresh and the pool is relaxing. I love the peace and quiet, away from the main road, especially during the Fourth of July holiday.

Nothing! It would be nice to have breakfast but due to the Pandemic, I would rather be safe than sorry.( Feel Me) :)

I really enjoyed my stay! Ron/Rob was very helpful and reassuring at check-in. I arrived several hours before check-in from NC to work a late afternoon wedding. The hotel was over accommodating to my needs: space to prepare for my event, a nice room, an early check-in and understanding from their staff. I was able to rest after a long travel and work day. That was even more important to me because I had to return to NC the following day. During check-out, Ron/Rob realized I missed the breakfast and he offered me a water and crackers for my trip home. I was grateful.

I appreciated the location of the hotel. I also enjoyed the food from the rest.

Rooms need lots of work and deep cleaning. The vent was full of some old buildup that wS black in color and gushed out once turned on. The room & bathroom doors were damaged at the bottom. The room door was extremely high that I could see the hallway , so I put the extra pillows down to block the light. Bathroom tile wS cracked in several places and very dirty looking.

The overnight manager Tyler, is exceptional in his operation. I had a issue with a mattress that felt broken or badly worn and when I mentioned it to Tyler, insisted that I take the room across the hall. He was obviously concerned about my experience and he wanted to exceed my expectations. He is a valuable asset to the IHG Team.

The mattresses is one of the main reasons I frequent your hotel almost weekly, so this one time was unusual with a broken, worn mattress but well handled.

Its the "middle" place of that long drive. And oh boy, what comfortable bedding! I almost look forward to the return trip! Host was busy, but ran everything efficiently and smoothly upon check-in.

Not a thing wrong. I had to wait just a small amount of time for my coffee! But thats my own impatience.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Parking was readily available. The property is not far from a nearby interstate highway and there are restaurants and stores pretty close to the property. It is only a few minutes from the Manassas Battlefield Park.

Food services are apparently still limited. I was told that breakfast was available in the morning, but I did not readily see food when I came down. I was able to get coffee and hit the road for the day. The property is located in a business park-type environment and not immediately adjacent to restaurants.
