Best Western Plus Glen Allen Inn

The black out shade in addition to the curtains. The AC cooled the room so I slept great. It was clean. The front desk gal was so friendly and helpful. The TV was easy to operate and the remote worked! The water was hot and had great pressure. The location worked out perfectly for me and my plans. I will look for Best Western PLUS again when setting up reservations as this was the first time I stayed in one and I was pleasantly surprised.

Hard Boiled eggs at breakfast would have been nice.

Clean and quiet. I did have to remake the bed as the sheet was on inside out and very rough. Once sheet issue was corrected, the bed was comfortable. The room, including the bathroom was very clean.

I had a necklace that I could not find in my small carry bag nor my purse once I checked out. I called the hotel and someone finally answered after 3 tries. The woman who answered barely spoke English and had no idea what I was talking about, referring to the necklace. She had the male manager who spoke broken English come on the phone. He first asked "what happened" to which I replied with the story about my necklace and gave him the room number - 202. He immediately replied that there was no necklace in that room. He again asked me what happened. I was getting frustrated and getting no where with him. I'm not even sure if he had checked the room or with housekeeping as his reply to me was immediate.

The Hotel was in the middle of putting new furniture into rooms. At the end of the day there were small peices of Styrofoam packing material in the halls until the next day. I think All showers/tubs should have grab rails. Older people may not be disabled but sometimes need help with their balance.

The hotel was affordable and staff was very polite!

We had to exchange our keys once because we had issues getting in the room. Once we received new keys, we still had issues. We had to try numerous attempts getting in our room, but other than that this is a nice hotel that is very affordable I’d you’re visiting VA! Also, only a hour away from one of the beaches and not far from Kings Dominion!

Location was excellent. Stayed at hotel for vacations numerous times.

Last stayed in was a little disappointing. Room was changed by general manager and he never informed me of changes. I had requested and paid for a king room with sofa bed included, however, instead changed to a king room with one small sitting chair. When asked about it front desk staff did not know why the general manager made the change. Only he could answer me. He was not at site but informed the desk clerk to let him know I wanted to speak to him and during my stay there he never came forward to contact me. I never had any issues with them until this stay. I have planned another longer stay in upcoming August, hope they don’t screw up my room. If they do, my rating will drop dramatically and would no longer stay at this hotel ever.

I like the place, we really only needed a clean safe place to take a warm shower and sleep, it was comfortable, clean, safe and close to I95.

The place overall is great but I did not like that it was stated that continental breakfast would be provided and it really wasn't, breakfast bags were supposed to be provided but we never saw them either (we ended up havingbreakfastat WaffleHouse its really closeto the hotel). The A/C in the hall was off and the windows opened so the hallway was hot probably because some visitors were smoking weed so they did what they had to do I can understand that.

The breakfast was supposed to be included, but when we went for it, there were only cold items, such as apples, packaged muffins, cold cereal, yogurt, & granola bars. We asked if there were eggs, and he told us no, because the manager didn’t leave him a can opener. He told us to have toast & yogurt, instead. Totally unacceptable! Since when do you need a can opener to make eggs?

Their beds are firm and comfortable. One of the few hotels that accept dogs.

Had trouble getting someone to desk to check in. There was a pee stain in the bathtub. The coffee pot in the room had dust on it. Clearly room hadn't been cleaned recently. Breakfast items were out (coffee, waffle mix, juice)

Breakfast was great. Location was very close to work and convenient. Staff was polite and helpful. Pool was nice. Room was clean and cozy. New towels every day and trash clean pickup as well. 10/10

Maybe start breakfast earlier for those working who may work starting at 6am

The hotel was quiet. The beds were comfortable.

We had a room with a kitchen (sink, refrigerator and srove) but nothing to cook in and no utebsils or dish soap. It would be beneficial if a room withva kitchen was able to be used without having to go buy pans, soap, etc.
