Had stayed here before and you get what you pay for. If you want nucer than this place considering the location then you are really going to have to pay for it in Richmond. The staff is very friendly every time. Great location.

The A/C worked very well and the shower was very hot and plentiful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The phone in the room didn't work, there was no clock in the room and, while the Wifi network was readily available, there were issues getting the internet up. Once it was up it worked very well.

The room and bedding was clean and neatly presented. The restaurant across the road was a great little local spot. Good, clean, cheap overnight pit stop on the way to anywhere else. Make sure you lock your door and close your blinds. Get a ground (1st) floor room so you can keep an eye on your car and also so you have two exit points in case you have to run out of there fast.
The light near the door as you walked into the room didn't work. Check in time of 3pm is really late. Charging an early check in fee of $50 is a total ripoff considering the room rate was $78. There was some type of local government homeless men convention happening at the place. Lots of shifty, disheveled types shuffling and hanging around the place.

The bed was very comfortable. I wanted a place where I can have a rest for the night and this place was just what I needed. I also like the sofa for relaxing before bed.
Unfortunately the duvet from the bed had some damages. It was burnt. See photos. It should be reconsidered next time. Otherwise everything was good.

Everything was good, just little things. The linens on the bed were clean, (I hope) but were old and had stains and holes. We bring our on linens since the pandemic, so we didn't sleep on them. Other people might.
