Hampton Inn & Suites Richmond/Virginia Center

We were given a handicapped accessible room even though we had booked a regular King room. Very spacious with lot’s of room! The bed was soft but comfortable. Adequate number of pillows. The small refrigerator kept everything very cold. We did not use the coffee maker as there was 24 hr coffee in the lobby. Staff were excellent and very welcoming. The girls who checked us in even recommended a nearby restaurant which was very good. Breakfast was really good. Fresh omelettes with your choice of items to put in them; bagels, whole wheat & white breads, hot oatmeal and waffles and pastries & muffins for dessert. We will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was great. The bed was a bit hard for my wife and I. Pool was awesome for my grandchild who is basically a fish in water.

Just a couple of kids screaming and making a lot of noise at the pool. There were at least 10 other adults and kids that were being considerate. I think they were annoyed by the noise too.

Great central location, with restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. The rooms were a really good size, perfect for our family of five. The gym was small, but perfect for our needs. we were also able to enjoy the pool area. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well.

The pool and hot tub were fine, however the flooring was slippery and lighting could be better.

Breakfast was great. Location was perfect location from my nephew’s house. Wonderful staff also happy and friendly. Definitely will stay here again.

One of the queen bed needs a new mattress. It was like sleeping on springs. The sofa sleeper did not have bedding.

The breakfast was good. Great location. Pool and exercise room was nice. We had a King Suite, good size quiet room away from the elevator.

The room we stayed in was non-smoking but I could tell someone had smoked in the room. Had a light musty odor. The night light in the room didn't work. I was also double charged. I updated my room on the Hilton app and prepaid on line but the hotel also charged me. Spent hours waiting on the phone for advance purchase to pick up. Finally received a credit after contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge.

The beds are very comfortable. The staff was very nice. The kids liked the pool. Very quiet.

The egg and cheese and sausage continental breakfast food was disgusting. Our toilet in our room was loose so it rocked. The refrigerator in the room makes a loud clicking noise. After a long day at Kings Dominion, we headed back to the hotel ready to take a nap and our key cards would not let us into our room. We had to wait in a long line of people trying to check in because there was only one person working the main desk. We had no problem getting our key activated. The lobby is very nice, however the bathrooms could use an upgrade.

front desk check in lady was Amazing . she had 101 task she was trying to juggle all at once and stayed patient and calm smile never left her face . forget her name but she was working 3-11 the night the I checked in .

I liked the hotel itself, not so much the rooms. Breakfast was great and the place has a nice pool and hot tub although I suggest they clean them more especially the hot tub. It had previous patrons dead skin and germs floating in the bubbles.

I did not like the rooms. They were a lot of fixtures made I can tell because it looked old but worked new. The bathroom was the cleanest part of the room. The bed sheets could’ve been washed better. I used my UV light and WAS DISGUSTED AT THE BED!

The Breakfast was fantastic. Eggs made to order and all other breakfast items terrific. Bedding, shower and TV were as good as it gets in a hotel.

Tried to check in as soon as we got there, about 1:35, so we could see the NFL games that were on. Front desk girl seemed to be on an underlying power trip and seemed to enjoy telling us white folk we could NOT check in until 3 O'clock. Not good for repeat business.

We arrived late on the 29th of April. The host did all she could to help us find a place to eat. She even left us use her phone! Thank you again! The HD channels and TV were great! The bed, shower, WiFi and breakfast were very good so we stayed another day! After a terrible couple of hours at the Hyatt Chester, this hotel was like an oasis! We'll gladly return to the Hampton Inn and Suites Richmond Virginia Center!

A little hard to find off the highway but that was really a good thing.
