Red Roof Inn Warrenton

I was traveling from out of town for a wedding, the location was centrally located to the wedding events. It's also conveniently located near a gas station, a couple diners, a grocery store and a CVS for anything I needed. The room looked recently renovated and was nicely done. The bed was soft, linens were clean, and there were no bedbugs. The shower was clean and mold-free, and bathroom also renovated. The floor was laminate flooring, so it was also visibly clean as I dislike how carpet never really can be.

As some other reviews had mentioned, the drains are a bit slow to drain, but I knew it going in and was not surprised. They drain, it's just a slower process than I am used to having. Also, I knew from previous reviews there was no elevator, but the stairs are clean and nicely lit.

The hotel is very clean. The parking is a bit confusing at first, but there is plenty of parking on all sides. Two or three main entry doors, all with key card access. Room and bed was very comfortable. They have taken over and remodeled an older hotel and have done it very well. This hotel is down town, and easy to reach anything in Warrenton.

There was a few "stragglers", people who hang out around the outside of the hotel. They did not beg money; but this could be unsettling to some visitors. We did not contact the management as it was no bother to us, but I did mention it upon checking out. They asked to be notified if we stay again as they are proactive in stopping this practice.

Believe it or not, clearly you should always make sure you look closely at your booking before confirming it. My destination was on the opposite coast. There is more than one city named Warrenton as it turns out. Make things easier for everyone and check your booking details lol. Thanks to everyone for being so understanding and helping me have a great vacation once the stress factor was eliminated.

Nice, convenient place to stay over night! Facilities were very clean and comfortable! We were very satisfied with the price and the location! It was in a very quiet neighborhood!

Nothing, other than not having a pool! Even though it isn’t ‘pool’ weather, we travel a lot & in the summer, we might not choose this location for that reason! The pool area was filled in with dirt & grass, not attractive!

For the price in this area, it's a great value. Everything was up to date and clean, and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable with a firm and supportive mattress. No street noise or noise through the walls.

Cleanliness, easily assessable.

Awakened at 3:00 a.m. with loud voices. Scary under these days circumstances. But, realized a couple probably just coming in to their room. Didn’t last long. Maybe 20 minutes.

No breakfast offered. Location was very close to the event venue.

Detached lobby. Had to check in and out via a drive thru type window. Access to building with rooms did not require keycard. Anyone could just walk in all hours of the night. The screen in our window was bent on one side like someone tried to break in at some point.

Too much Marijuana smoking close to doors. Had a hard time walking out the doors past the smokers not smoking in areas designated for them. and could smell it while sleeping

the rooms seemed very clean.

It’s a small dilemma but after a long week of work and on our last night in town the tv remotes batteries were dead. and the front office was quite a walk away.

the breakfast needs to be ungraded. offer some danish, and a simple waffle maker.
