Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colonial

This review should be of interest to the traveler who wants "just a place to sleep, and I'm not interested in paying for amenities that I'm not going to use". This is your motel. Simple, admittedly sparse, however it's reasonably comfortable for what you're paying, and it's definitely clean and well cared for. The bed was decently comfortable, the shower was hot and good pressure, and it was definitely clean and well cared for. I will be coming back next year.

The continental breakfast was a bit sparse: Three choices of Kelloggs cereal, two kinds of muffins, and a bowl of bananas. Plus the coffee/hot water maker. Don't take this as an actual complaint, however, it's just that I've been used to a bit more in other motels of this type. Bottom line, I got a good enough breakfast and wasn't complaining when I was finished.

I like the accomodations, and the price when using booking.com. The pool was nice over the Summer. I'm sure there will be more attention to detail regarding the breakfast offer. I look forward to staying there again.

The breakfast is weak, Food Lion pecan Danish, the cereals don't look like Kellogg's brands as the labels imply. I won't even mention the curdled milk, that ruined my 1st attempt on raisin brand, when I notified the front desk lady she corrected the issue. The Indian lady, owner I'm guessing, had just put the new gallon of milk in the cooler, from the back area, I was the first person to open which was properly sealed, and the date was Sept 18th mysterious as to why. The powdered juice machine was empty.

the cleanliness was awesome compared to our recent few trips to other Days Inn franchises. and the location was very convenient to roam all around. room amenities met the expectations too along with car parking.

would request to improve the breakfast options, at least bread and butter/jam availability were expected along with cereals. the coffee options were also limited where nobody was there to take care the coffee machine alerts.

My family and I stayed in a suite and we were very comfortable in our suite, it was very spacious and I especially enjoyed having access to two bathrooms within our suite. We also had access to two closets and two TV's.

Due to the facility being short staffed we had to ask for trash bags and toilet paper on a daily basis from the office.

The beds were extremely comfortable & as soon as my head hit the pillow after a LONG, TIRING, HOT day at Busch Gardens, I was knocked out. :-)

When we first checked in and got in our room, we checked the beds as we always do anytime we stay somewhere and it was a dirty towel that was left under the sheets of one of the beds. However, our room had extra clean linens and we were able to change our beds. There was a man staying in the room next to us and I swear he was selling drugs or something because it was people in and out all times of the day and night.

Close to everything 😜 and is a nice place so don't always trust reviews and front night staff lady was the best she help me and answered every question I asked.

Was a little loud at times the room beside me had two bed but there and was like eight people in there staying with a baby so yes it did get loud at times

Good price and location. We were there for a convention at the Clarion and it was pretty close.by that and tons of Restaurants.

There really wasn't a breakfast although they do have a sign at the desk saying it was not a hot breakfast we expected what is usually at most hotels but for the price I suppose it was all they could afford.

Perfect location for our trip and the rates were beyond reasonable, under $200 for three days two nights. The size of the room pleasantly surprised me (two doubles and a pull out living room two bathrooms and showers fridge and microwave) staff was friendly and the bed were very comfy. The pool was fun for the kids

Breakfast wasn't served as advertised and the pull out mattress was stained and questionable. The carpets need a good clean but the room was over all pretty clean and look like it was updated recently.

The pool. The Ac. The location. My room was clean. It was very hot during our visit. The staff was amazing and very accommodating.

The vending machine area doesn’t feel safe. The vending machines should have snacks as well. There should be drinks allowed at the pool in plastic containers at least with how hot it was. There should be more seating by the pool as well.

I was in an wheelchair accessible room. Plenty of room and bars in the right place in bathroom. I've read a lot of reviews about being dirty. My room was clean,my bathroom was clean. Clean bedding with an amazing bed. My only complaint was no TV remote but I watched on my tablet with wifi that worked fine.
