Breakfast was fair needed a microwave to heat buns and oatmeal etc

I don’t like that the hotel has held up over $350 over the amount of my room! Amounted to a total of $750 from 12/16 and still on hold today 12/20

It was very spacious and open. The parking lot was huge and we had the back room which was conveniently closest to the back door so we didn’t have to go far when we parked the car. And I could step out to smoke easily. The pool was very clean and nice. The breakfast was delicious every day we had it put a smile on are faces and made us ready for our journeys through the day. The cleanliness was the best part. Housekeeping was excellent the best I’ve seen ever and they were so nice to us we talked and said good morning every day. Very very friendly staff.

There was a problem with our tv when we got there didn’t think much of it didn’t want to complain. We should’ve told the front desk or someone sooner about it but by the third fourth day we did and turned out it was the one cable wire being lose from someone who was there before us ,must’ve been moving the tv so we got to watch tv without any skips and interrupts the last few days we had there by finger tightening it back on. Also we noticed the toilet seat had a few scratches and dings out of it also was like a chemical on it that burned through and left a permanent looking film drops at one point but we made due with it and it worked we didn’t want to complain it did the job

Very clean hotel, breakfast every morning was decent, not extravagant, saving money on going out for breakfast, location was close to Williamsburg for places we were visiting, front desk staff was pleasant, overall a very nice place to stay. Front desk was able to recommend local places to eat. Pool was clean and inviting. Room had more than adequate amenities for the one we chose. Ice machines available, snack machines, fitness room.

The stairs from the lobby up to our room on floor two. Two short stair cases, with the worst steps we have encountered. No padding under the carpet, feels like you are walking in wood with each step, were not comfortable at all going up or down. Stair railing had brackets holding it to the wall. Too easy to catch a thumb on the brackets. Would probably be better if they were complete brackets all the way around the railing. One would then notice they were there.

We had a late check in, and upon arrival we were taken care of with no issue. The lobby looked clean and maintained. The room we were given was ready and clean. The bathroom looked clean, and had plenty of towels and washcloths ready. The TV worked ok. Wifi had good connection. The continental breakfast was sufficient, and everyone enjoyed the waffles. One downfall is that there is no indoor pool, and due to the rainy weather we were not able to utilize the pool. Location was great as were were 15 minutes or less to everywhere we needed/wanted to go. We would stay here again.

Next time we will request a room with no adjoining door to another hotel room. Some people just are not considerate of their neighbors.

We booked this hotel literally a few hours prior to arriving just for 1 night because we were staying for a week nearby, checking in the day after our stay here. The Comfort Inn is a nicely refurbished hotel & with clean rooms. Both of my kids (ages 11 & 9) were super impressed and said, "this place is bussin!".) LOL. I would absolutely stay another night when visiting the area again! We liked the breakfast a lot! My daughter especially loved the waffle machine that made 4 mini waffles!

Our check in was late - 11:15pm. The check in process was a little slow because they had tech issues with the computer. Once that was straightened out, everything was perfect! Our room was right next to the ice maker, so that was a little noisy but overall, it was rather quiet.

The Comfort Inn was very nice and clean. The staff was nice. The breakfast and the decor of the hotel was also great! Enjoyed the fitness room as well! I got the breakfast time wrong, but the manager walked us over and asked cook to reopen the breakfast area eventhough we were a little late. We were able to get muffins and fruit anyway. 😋

Only complaint was the gentleman at the front desk told us our $100 holding fee would be returned at checkout. That wasn't true, we were told by staff at checkout that it could take 5 or more days to get $100 fee refund. Unnecessary lie on his part!

This is my "go to" hotel when I travel to Williamsburg VA. It is a very clean, comfortable, well located and well run property. The management and staff are very friendly and well versed in how to treat a customer correctly. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, the hotel itself is very nicely located near just about anything you could need (food, shopping and tourist attractions). Given the choice, I will always choose to come to this venue.

Beds are a little too firm for my liking and the pillows aren't very comfortable either. These things are subjective though and my own personal opinion.

Super clean! All white bedding that smelled clean and fresh. Bathroom spotless. Even the hallways are clean. Breakfast choices were good; scrambled eggs, meat (different each day), waffles, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, hot cereal, cold cereal, fruit, juice, milk. Breakfast area bright, clean and orderly.

Beds were hard for me, but that's almost every hotel bed I ever met. Oh, this was my one BIG complaint: No place to hang your towels!!! Seriously, no towel bars anywhere! One hook behind the bathroom door. I'm sure it LOOKS better without towel bars, but really, let's be practical.

Everything went very well. I have stayed at this hotel for many years, with multiple trips each year. The staff is incredible, so personable and yet professional. It is a great location with shops, restaurants and gas stations nearby. And, Colonial Williamsburg is only a few minutes drive away. For the most part the rates are reasonable and comparable to the other hotels in the area. The rooms are comfortable and lovely, calming colors with a muted gray and purple.

I can't think of anything that I didn't care for.

the location cannot be beat for quick access to everything in the area. Our kids loved how it felt “like home” the most and just simple and comfortable overall. Super friendly and helpful staff, comfortable large rooms, and the breakfast was great! Absolutely would stay again visiting the area.

Only one thing: the beds are firm. Not really a downfall to the overall experience, but I suppose my family likes a little more pillow top feeling. Still would stay again, hands down, but for those who like plush, the beds are definitely firm.
