The location was great. The hotel was upscale.

This was a wedding anniversary trip and we wanted to make dinner reservations during a time when many of the restaurants in the area were not open. I sent a query to the concierge of the hotel on what good restaurants might be open and taking reservations. The Web site offered prearrival concierge support. I received no answer at all. Also, the room was not furnished as depicted on the Web site. We did book a premium room. Thus, we downgrade the value a bit.

the property is very pristine. I love that it is walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. the buffet breakfast was yummy and hat lots of options. Staff was friendly. very clean amenities!

our toilet had issues with flushing. We were very sad that the Sweat Tea and Barley restaurant wasn’t open on Monday. we asked staff if their were any festivities planned for Saturday 10/29/22 as we saw pumpkins around the town and kids in costume, staff said there were no Halloween events except for the haunted tours. we sadly found out the next day that the pumpkins were all gone and that men dressed up the horses and rode through the town and kids trick-or-treated. absolutely nothing was going on Halloween night.

The location of the hotel is a short walk to Colonial Williamsburg and there is ample parking. The check in staff were friendly and Frederick and Marcus on the concierge team were marvellous and very helpful. Our room was enormous and the bathroom was lovely and all was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had a really peaceful two nights with no external noise or from other guests. There was a good selection of things to eat for breakfast and the servers were friendly and helpful. We ate at the hotel one night and there was a good selection of items on the menu. On the night we arrived the hotel restaurant was closed but the receoption staff found us,a restaurant that was open and Frederick drove us there and back. The hotel has a number of facilities that we did not use. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Williamsburg.

Grab and go was nice but not that enjoyable.

No room service and the tea restaurant told us they were so backed up we couldn’t get any food for the kids. Eventually they allowed us chicken fingers and it took over and hour.

The housekeeping staff was great! They were very efficient, highly professional and very courteous and cordial at all times. They are excellent ambassadors of the Lodge.

The check-in process was subpar. Our room was not quite ready at 4 pm - the check-in staff estimated about 10 minutes delay and promised to call us as soon as it was ready. After 20 minutes passed without a call I had to check back to find the room was ready but the call apparently forgotten. It was a bad start.

limited operations in breakfast area on Sunday. your coffee shop was not open at all. the wait for breakfast was too long so we reneged. At checkout you had two attendants. the queue build up quickly. this extremely inconvenient to guests checking out. please fix these issues.

Location was great, close to downtown.

Overpriced for a normal hotel experience. The restaurants attached to the hotel, we’re overpriced with poor service. Traditions restaurant breakfast buffet is a complete ripoff. $25 per person for a breakfast buffet full of food you get complimentary at other hotels.

We ate breakfast off-site but I did enjoy the grab and go coffee bar. The location could not have been better...right in the heart of colonial Williamsburg.

We wish Traditions had a Brunch menu instead of buffet. My wife and I were looking forward to eggs Benedict. I believe they should add it to the brunch menu.

The location was perfect, as we wanted to go to Williamsburg, Jamestown, Berkeley Plantation, Yorktown and Malvern Hill battlefield. So, that’s why I chose the place. however, once we arrived, my wife and I were struck by the beauty of the trees, flowers and the brickwork of the buildings. Its a first class location, with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Breakfast was good but pricey. Room was very nice and clean, spacious. Staff was helpful and courteous.

I asked to book a room for the Grand Ilumination and the girl at the front desk went to ask someone about it. Apparently they said to check back closer to the dates in December but now youre booked!
