Club Wyndham Kingsgate

We were very pleased with the size and location of our unit. It was very comfortable for our group and we enjoyed the pool at the end of the day. The A/C was nice and cold and we also appreciated the well equipped, full sized kitchen.

I would have liked to have had fresh towels at least once during our three night stay. Also of note, if you have mobility issues, there are no elevators. It didn't affect us at all but if older family members had been with us, it would have been an issue.

Love that there are so many fun things for the kids to do right at the location, and they are all FREE! The resort is so compact.... everything is just within a short walk. Love the washer and dryer in the unit (and all other luxuries of home). Resort is located centrally to everything in Williamsburg. Staff could not have been better! Using bracelets as keys is genius!

- The rooms are dated. - Our bathroom door did not shut (the entire door did not push into the threshold). Risky inexcusable... management has to have knowledge of this, yet chooses to ignore it. - Our building smelled of marijuana most days. - The large TV is not located in the master bedroom.

This unit had a washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven with stove top, full size fridge, pots/pans, cups, silver ware. It was decorated to look like the "colonial times" where we were in colonial Williamsburg. It was comfortable and was a nice little apartment.

I didn't like trying to be sold stuff. After driving all day we were all tired so my family waited in the car while I went in to check in, knowing this they still pushed for me to go to a meeting for them to sell me stuff, even after I told them that I was not interested in buying anything. I just wanted to check in, get my family fed and go to bed. We decided that the next time we find ourselves in this area we will stay in a Hotel like the Hilton or Homewood Suites.

We love it there and have been more than one time! I think the lady who checked me was Pamela. She should be promoted!! She is wonderful and I saw her on the visit last year also! She makes me feel like I'm part of the Wyndam family and she makes me want to come back! Love that the restaurant was able to open this time also! Our daughter and grand angels had lunch with us there and the pizza and other items were delicious!!! Thanks again! :)

like the pools, jacuzzi and that condo had everything we needed. I prefer a little softer bed but firmer is supposed to be better for us; so that is all I would change. Maybe if they had 20% of the condos with softer bed options for those of us who like those! Otherwise it was great!

There were a lot of activities to do and my kids had a great time. We went during Easter, and they had kids' activities on Easter Sunday. They have a mini golf course, movie room (which we didn't see), a free arcade and an indoor heated pool with gym next door. The outdoor pool was heated and a 2nd outdoor pool is not. The property was clean and check-in/check-out was seamless.

The unit we were in was a little outdated, but it was clean, and that was the most important thing. The bathtub faucet was loose, and the water pressure was lacking, which took forever for it to fill up for baths. The washer/dryer was so tiny, we did more laundry than anticipated, and the dryer duct vent most likely has never been cleaned. It was so clogged with lint, and I reported this via email to the company. I had to dry a load 2 to 2 times for it to dry. The dishwasher rack was rusted out in several places, making some areas unusable for dishes. The upper lock arm on the front door was also loose.

This place exceeded our expectations. The kids looked forward to going back to the hotel every evening and we had a great stay. The staff was great and helped make it a good experience, especially the kind one who ran the activities center in the evening. She had my son laughing and giggling every time he checked out the Nintendo switch controllers. The unlimited arcade games were a huge hit and the kids loved the pool. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again.

The one draw back was the washer/dryer combo. The dryer did not work. I finally had to hang the clothing out over night to dry it as we had it go through two cycles and it was still wet and water was dripping out the front of the machine when we tried to use it. The dishwasher top rack was also rusted and old and needed to be replaced. Neither of these really bothered us and did not change how we felt about our stay.

Everything was wonderful!!! We stayed four nights. We had a one bedroom unit that was like an apartment. Full kitchen with everything you need to cook. Washer & Dryer in the unit. Two arcade/game rooms that are free, Three pools, one inside and two outside. Heated when it's not warm outside. Hot tub, Tennis court, Basketball, Putt Putt Golf, etc. That in itself saves you money so that you don't really have to venture out for fun. We highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

The upstairs noise on our last night. No doubt kids that sounded like elephants running up & down steps. Jumping around & stomping. Started at 9pm and lasted until around 3a.m...next time we will be upstairs!!!

Rooms were spacious. Beds and pillows very, very comfortable. Excellent location to all the area attractions. Staff were very responsive.

Super crowded pool. Because there are no lifeguards and staff, really young children hanging out in hot tub area. Rowdy crowds/kids taking over entire pool area playing catch with football in pool, jumping over younger kids and no one to stop them. lots of tween/teenage kids in pool area without adult supervision. not very family friendly.

So many activities for the entire family. Even with incorporated weather you will not be bored. Never have to left off the property. They have tons of things from a poolside bar and grill to movie theater. Great security and friendly staff. Property is very clean and well managed. Easy check-in. Couldn't ask for a better location. Near shops, restaurants, hospital, beach, Amusement park, and historic Williamsburg.

I enjoy everything!! Well would like a later check out instead of 10 am maybe 11 am.

Not our first trip. love the "apartment" style living on longer vacations.

TV interfaces could be more up to date with Netflix/HULU/Amazon etc smart TVs
