Days Inn by Wyndham Williamsburg Historic Area

It's a really nice place to stay but it cost too much for a week cost me 700 and something dollars for one week I remember back in the day motels was like 1200 1300 a month I got fourth stage cancer I struggle like hell my wife and I are homeless now we have no money for nothing nowhere to stay. Because it took every time I had between the motel and a rental car because my car broke down. But like I said it is a really nice place I'll stay there many times in the past I like it

I don't like how it's so expensive anymore I wish they would do two weeks I don't even do about a week unless they do it online

I like the fact the room was clean and beds were comfortable. The entry into the hotel was clean and organized. The staff was helpful and gave me another room when the water in 102 ran cold. Carol is very personable and allowed me to check in a few minutes early. The other lady at the front desk was also helpful when I informed her the water ran cold in 102. She switched me to 103. Which was a better room and the water in the shower ran hot.

The signal on the tv kept going out. Maintenance had to come to the room and fix it. The water in the first room they gave me in the shower ran cold. The lady at the front desk gave me another room.

The beds were comfortableand the breakfast was okay. The pool and hot tub was nice; cool in the evening but even better during the day. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Very nice area, looks good both inside and out. Felt very safe and close to many restaurants, from cheap to expensive.

We didn't like that because we asked for a smoking room that we ended up having to go outside to go to our room. To get to our room from the pool was an event by itself; not 'horrible' but we have been to better, more welcoming hotels for those of us who need smoking rooms available. Also, the biggie, no refrigerator or microwave in the room. That was SADLY disappointing. Who pays for a NICE hotel, to NOT have a fridge or microwave or both? Unsual and makes us more watchful for any future stays in lodging.

Rooms were very decent sizes, there was enough room for my 3 kids to easily play, there was 5 of us in the room 2 adults and 3 kids and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other

The indoor pool area was cold, my kids were crying before their feet even hit the water, it wasn't horrible but could have definitely been warmer in the pool room

The young lady that checked us in was very pleasant and even made us laugh. Very professional and her daughter was so sweet and cute too.

This young man was not pleasant at all. We came back in on Saturday and my husband was telling him we needed a late check out. The attitude had was ugly and the expression on his face was very ugly. That lost your hotel a customer. The last time we were there this same young man attitude offended my husband so in the future we will not choose your establishment. We like your establishment but will not put up with people treating us some kind of waybecause they have a chip on there shoulder. When you are at work you should always be professional regardless of what is going on in your personal life. I own my own business and if one of my employees offended my client they are out. Because you then has lost me money. I hope you keep this in mind. Maybe he needs some customer service training.

Most Comfy bed ever, quiet area, staff don't bug you and are friendly for the most part. Very clean rooms. Could use some updating but we'll worth the stay!! Very close to everything we were interested in going to. Would stay again!!

The pool needs redone. I was looking forward to swimming but no way would I get in that pool and the hot tub was freezing and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in years! Both were disgusting!!! No way would I use it!!!!! The fountain outside needs fixed also it would be beautiful if it worked!! Need new lights in room, none of the outlets to charge phones worked.

Bed was very comfortable. I felt so relaxed while sleeping in the bed. I appreciate having a mini fridge in the room as the items we brought were able to stay cold.

There was no hot warm so we could not take hot showers. The wifi was not working properly as we tried to stream movies and could not due to wifi. House keeping knocked on door before 10am and did not give us a chance to answer before she came in room as we were still sleeping. Microwaves are needed in the rooms. When heating up food we had to use the microwave in the dining area, which was an inconvenience.

The beds were comfortable, wish the blankets were a little different but it was perfect for the price

There wasn't much I didn't like except that the bathtub was kinda small and the water was difficult to figure out at first. The blankets were more like sheets and very thin, but overall there's really nothing wrong

I like that after he knew that I need a king bed he was honest and got us a king bed. The rest of the weekend went great. I would book again.

What I did not like was about two hours before I was to leave a manager called and told me that her was a mishap at he hotel and my room was no longer available. They were going to have to give me a double instead of my king. I said no my husband is 6' 6" and he can not fit in a double bed. He proceeded to tell that if I did not take that he would have to refund my money, this why he called me so I could find another place to stay. I said no you can't expect me to find a place to stay a few hours before I arrive and in my price range. This is on you and you have to find me a room and not a double a queen or larger. He put me on hold and came back and said by the time we check in it will be alright. It was and our weekend was good.

We had previously stayed at Wyndham Property and we were learey about staying at another, however this stay redeemed them. The staff were genuinely friendly. One of the housekeeping staff told us she was there nearly 40 years. The room was clean. The Continental Breakfast exceeded our expectations. (We stayed 3 nights.)

The faucet in the bathroom leaks, but wasn't a nusiance.
