Courtyard by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard

The room was great! Super comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant. Parts of the hotel were under renovation, but did not inconvenience us. It was an enjoyable stay!

We used the parking garage and paid cash at the front desk for that charge, since our room had already been booked and paid online. After checking out, we noticed that our credit card had been charged another $40 for the same parking fee. We called the hotel and it was being looked into, but we have yet to hear back from anyone, or receive a refund for the double payment.

Customer service was fantastic. I expected it to be a little crazy since there was a game in town. We were not there for the game. We received a warm greeting from Tierra and Abdallah as we checked in and witnessed how they handled other guest concerns. They were congenial throughout and prompt in making situations right! We stayed two nights and it was very busy yet they were efficient and quick in handling guests and always with a smile! The service we received is enough of a reason to return!

No complaints just a suggestion. If they could put one bench outside the door for older people to sit when waiting for the car to pull up, that would be great!

The staff was excellent, especially Andre at the front desk. He was very helpful, polite and personable. Starbucks in the lobby was very convenient although a little slow in the morning. The room was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable, and the windows open to allow for fresh air. We stayed at this same location 3 years ago and everything was just as new and fresh as it was then. Would definitely stay here again.

The room had a very strong smell of either air freshener or maybe the cleaning products, actually made my eyes burn. We opened the windows and it cleared out quickly.

The Staff /Concierge were terrific....above and beyond They made the stay special. The location is good to get to many places....right near train. Lots of good food places close by in Navy Yard.

The pull out sofa in the room for first 2 days was unbearable......my back hurt for a couple of days after sleeping on it......actually had to change room arrangement which of course was more expensive. They can't really market those pull out sofas as sleep space. Sadly, for the kids, the pool was closed.

Amazing staff you feel welcomed, and its easy to talk to them.

parking sucks

The room was big enough for a family of three. The hide a bed was kind of old but ok for 3 nights' sleep. The food at the restaurant was limited (not much selection), but there a places that you can go close to the hotel. All in walking distance (CVS, Whole foods too)

The bed and hide bed was old, but ok to sleep for 3 days. The restaurant is a counter-style food service, not a sit-down and not waitress type. But it was ok due to COVID, you can take it out and take it to your room.

very close and convenient to the National park

we requested a king room and when we got there, they only had queen rooms left. it was quite frustrating. what made it even more frustrating, the receptionist gave us a key to an occupied room, however she was prompted to fix it and gave us another room.

Location in SW DC. I had to leave at 4:30;in the morn. A very nice security guard escorted me to the parking garage, but I still had to navigate the streets in an area I am not familiar with. It made me nervous, and there was a murder that night of a young man just standing outside his apartment bldg.

Location was awesome, right across the street from Washington nationals baseball stadium, metro train Right across the street same as buses, places to eat real close would stay here again, felt very safe.

Not enough sit down restaurants nearby, plenty coffee shops had to go into town for nice restaurants

This Courtyard Marriott was outstanding. Our room was clean and spacious; breakfast was delicious and varied; the location was unbeatable--one block from the Metro and close to the downtown. in all, first class experience.

Online they advertised a pool but it was closed.
