Loved the different, thoughtful amenities around the property - the fire pits, the tree net, the hammock, the variety of seating, the kayak availability, sauna, and walking trails. This really makes the resort feel like a unique hideaway.

Stayed in the main building in one of the older, small rooms. I went into it knowing that there would not be A/C or my own bathroom, which were fine. However, the room had a generally "old" smell, like old carpet or used linens. The bed and sheets were clean and comfortable but a carpet and curtain refresh might update the experience a bit.

The bed and bedding were comfortable. The view from our room was outstanding. The grounds of the Inn were lovely and if the weather was nicer, it would have been lovely to enjoy a fire in one of the fire pits. There was complimentary coffee in the main lodge. The lodge was warm and inviting with a fire crackling in its original stone fireplace. Interesting photos and memorabilia in the lodge.

We arrived after dark and it was hard to find our room although the staff did point to our building. The parking wasn’t very well lit. The room was very spartan, with almost no furniture, except the bed. The only breakfast offered had to be purchased from a little store on the property. There was no coffee maker in the room. It was okay with us, but people should know that there is no TV in the room either.

Most of the rooms were lovely! We had some family in the lodge and some in the cabins - and most were lovely - VERY clean and well maintained (kudos to the cleaning staff)! The beds were VERY comfy!! The patio was fabulous, drinks were great, food was also good. The grounds were spacious and perfect for evening gatherings. In the lodge, the bathrooms are shared, but very well appointed. The drip coffee in the morning by the reception was some of the best coffee I've had! Also, the breakfast cafe was great. Delicious speciality coffees and granola bars.

The placing of guests in rooms seemed random. We booked very far in advance, and I had hoped that would put us in some of the better rooms but initially, we did not get a very good room in the lodge. After talking with the lovely front desk staff, they were able to set us up in a better room, but we moved 2 times over our 4 night stay. (Thank you!!) Also, some sort of mini fridge in the cabins would be nice, just to keep drinks cold, etc.

The history and the setting are magical. Pure Pacific NW. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Restaurant was amazing -- everything we tried was delicious. Outdoor firepit with s'mores and chatting with other guests was also a highlight. 10/10 would recommend.

Minor complaint but the cocktail I had from the bar was meh, weak. Could have been a fluke because the food was exceptional. Maybe stick with their wine or beer offerings?

Loved the location and the charm of the antiques at the Inn. They upgraded me to a corner suite and I loved hearing the waves at night and having the wrap around windows and extra space. The bathrobes and hot drink station were a nice, cozy addition. And the little coffee shop was wonderful with some yummy breakfast bites! All of the staff were wonderful!

Because it's an older building, it does get noisy at night with sounds from the restaurant/bar but they did have a white noise machine in my room and optional ear plugs if I wanted them, which was nice 🙂 I'd definitely come again!

Absolutely magical place. My room was tiny, but had the most incredible view and comfy bed. Communal bathrooms were spotless. The property and all of the features were incredible. I can't wait to go back

The food in the restaurant did not quite meet my expectations, I ordered the mussels and plans which were recommended to me and I thought they were mediocre.

My husband and I often stayed here 38 years ago and had a beverage in the old pub downstairs just like the captains quarters in a seafaring town. It was a very bittersweet trip because he died last year 😢. The old pub is gone, replace though by a very nice restaurant. It was beautifully restored to its former glory of 1983. I sat by the authentic stone fireplace in the warm, logged lobby and looked out over the cove by night. It was a wonderfully healing and left me with dear, nostalgic memories to carry into the future.

I think only maybe a couple unimportant things: it was very cold downstairs in the lobby, in the somewhat early morning so I asked about starting a fire in the stone fireplace. The nice young man said they only do fires in the evening because it would burn too much firewood otherwise. It is in a forest after all, so I think that was a rather lame reason. Second is that the bar and restaurant prices were a bit high but I see the restaurant was a nice one so I suppose that is the price folks pay.

The view from our room at the lodge was perfect. You could see out onto the water and it was so nice to wake up to that view. The room itself was perfect! It's small but cozy and it makes you feel like you're staying in a cabin. The restaurant downstairs was amazing! The food was delicious and almost every hotel guest was eating there so I recommend making a reservation.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable (both the pillows and the mattress) but it wouldn't deter me from staying there again. The grounds are beautiful! They offer s'mores on certain nights & were supposed to have them the Saturday we were there but they ended up not offering them so that was a bit of a bummer.

Staff went above the norm. It was our 30th wedding anniversary. They upgraded our room, which was lovely of them. They left a nice note to us, poured us some yummy champagne and explained about the love notes, which I interpreted as general love and the blessed one that I have been married for 30 yrs and 2 days, interpreted it another. We had dinner at the CWI and it was pretty darn delicious.

The rain and wind. But hey, you can't control the weather! It was a miserable drive back to Seattle. Hubby had never driven in torrential rain, I have 2 x in Seattle, on I-5.

The view of the water was wonderful. The grounds were very nice and the location was just near enough to town to make it easy to visit sites in town and the nearby environs. Laura and Allie were wonderful receptionists and hosts. The staff up front, in the restaurant and housekeepers were extremely helpful and pleasant. Several places to hang out and be quiet both indoors and outdoors. Everything was kept very clean, uncluttered and welcoming.

Sharing the two upstairs bathrooms with other guests was too much like in Europe. Perhaps they could be designated respectively male and female so with social distancing it is easier for guests to not concern themselves with just one at a time in either bathroom at a time. Granted there were also two other downstairs bathrooms at the end of a hallway near the bar, but not really convenient enough to second floor overnight guest rooms. Very low water pressure at the sinks of one of the upstairs bathrooms.
