Such a creative idea. This little railroad village is so quaint and peaceful. It's really close to town but feels "off the track". Although the car would sleep more than two, it might be close quarters. We were very comfortable with just two of us. Don't expect luxury but it's comfortable and has all the basics you need. It's quirky and cute. It's like glamping. We stayed two nights during the Lavender festival. What a fun place to stay. Would definitely return again.

There's a beautiful little shady spot in the back. Would have enjoyed having some outdoor chairs out there.

This place was so much fun! Sleeping in a train? Even better than we expected! The bed was super comfy, the giant bathtub was awesome and got so hot, and held the heat! The mural of the lavender and all of the purple was so pretty! We loved being able to climb up into the top and sit in the train seats, both of us set up a little work/reading nook! Tiny kitchen but still totally doable and nice to have microwave and hot plate stove and kcups! Such a good time, we loved all the other trains around too and all the original details left around too! Thanks for such a unique time, will def keep it on our radar for future visits, loved Purple haze lavender farm right up the road too!

Dish drying mat or towel to set wet dishes on would have been nice!

We recently stayed here as a gateway to a Olympic National Park. The unique experience was what you are saying, and we’re so glad we experienced it. The innkeepers are very good communicators, and made booking and check-in very easy. We had some questions and they responded very quickly and took care of it. When driving in, we were a little concerned, as it looks like you’re pulling into a neighborhood, so we wondered whether or not it would be private. Turns out, it feels very private. We really felt like we were getting away from it all while not having to drive very far. Best of both worlds. We stayed in the Grape Escape car, which is charmingly wine themed. There are thoughtful, delightful design features throughout, without ever feeling gaudy or over the top. The centerpiece of this particular room is an amazing copper soaking tub. I am what you might consider “above average” in body size, and a good warm soak was a dream come true after a long day of national parking. The bed was comfortable, albeit a little squeaky. Speaking of parking, you can conveniently park your vehicle right next to your caboose. We highly recommend the Olympic Railway in, and if we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again.

The bed was a bit squeaky, and I'm a bigger guy so when I turned over in the night, it was a bit noisier than preferred. Also, a slightly larger bed would be appreciated, even in the smallish space.

We were able to bring our two dogs and there was space for us to walk them on the grounds. As an added bonus, the off leash dog park was a short walk away! Our dogs loved it there! The water had a lot of pressure and got hot quickly. The little kitchenette was perfect! And the cabana/game room was an added bonus. We were able to group with the rest of our family in the evenings to play board games. During the day time we were able to sit outside on the patio furniture to plan where we wanted to go. This is a great place for family and friends to stay as a group!

Our cabin/train car had a queen bed and two singles but there were only 2 blankets. It would have been nice to have at least one more blanket. Also there was a slight odor in the car. Other than that it was a great place!

The Caboose was very clean, really unique-thoughtfully decorated, and surprisingly, very roomy. It was easy to find and centrally located. It was in a quiet area. Although we didn't bring our dog this time, I love that it's dog friendly and will bring her next time.

We stayed when the outside temp was about 32degrees out, we brought warm PJ's knowing this, however, overnight inside the caboose was very cold, as the wall heat/air unit didn't blow out the heat very far. The 2nd day/night we used the portable oil heater and it was perfect. Use the portable oil heater in winter, hahaha! The mattress was very soft and really bouncy, we prefer a firmer one; personal choice.

This was a birthday present, getaway. The grounds, wildlife, views, privacy and intimacy of the car, were all wonderful! We enjoyed the end of the day, glass of wine and dinner in the observatory chairs. The kitchen offered everything we needed for our stay. The jacuzzi tub was a calming way to end the evening. Everything about the car was clean and well presented. We had a wonderful time and have already recommended the location to others. Thank you

We woke up in the middle of the night, cold. We realized that we should have paid more attention to operating the main heating system prior to going to sleep!

Exteriors of our two railroad cars were rather weathered, but the insides exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and amenities, and the themed decorations--lavendar festival for one, wild west for the other--were a delight for our us and our grandchildren. The grounds were pleasant, if a bit lacking for trees and shade, but when it got too hot, we retreated to the comfort of our air conditioned railroad cars. A very fun experience for all of us!

Some shade trees around the exterior would have been nice and allowed use of the picnic table and chairs between our two railroad cars during the hot weather of our stay.

This property is apparently just opening up..........and facilities not completed. The one Caboose (9) lacked sheets for the couch bed, and the shampoo in the shower of the other (5) did not work. The AC had just been installed in 9, and it took some assist to make certain they were working. We were assisted by a carpenter on the property who was kind enough to take time to assist us getting organized. The concept of the property is great, the interior decorating of each caboose unique and fun, and I hope it is developed further. The old diner car parked there would make a great breakfast room.

I would have a specific concierge person on site to give people assist and be present for people's sign it. This would improve the professionalism of the property.

This was a great stay! The caboose was well appointed, the bed comfortable! Sadly we had to shorten our stay because of a windstorm that took out the power Friday night, and while we tried to stick it out, it was COLD and the power company kept pushing back lights on time. Thankfully, the hosts who we met were delightful, and offered us a refund or rebooking! We look forward to coming back in April or May for my Birthday! We loved the proximity to Nourish Sequim because the food was out of this world! who knew!

LOVED the bathtub, loved our caboose. the novelty of staying in a themed caboose has not worn off I absolutely loved it. the area is secluded yet close to town, and quiet. there was some construction going on during our stay which didn’t bother us at all. the tv had access to internet and I could use my own streaming services.

The bed was beyond hard, it was so uncomfortable I considered cutting my trip short and just going home. I’m disabled so that was especially bad for me.
