Motel Oasis

The owners were so nice! Athough we had a king room booked, they did not have one available for us. He made sure we were comfortable in the double Queen that he had and offered us a free nights stay for the inconvenience, now that is True Customer Service! They have a pet bunny in the lobby and as an animal lover it was a treat to give it a pet after a long day driving. The continental breakfast was very good with a waffle maker, yogurt, fresh pastries & fruit.

Staff who greeted us the night we arrived and the next morning were super friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. After we got into our room, he showed up at our door and suggested we move to another room since it was cooler than this one. This was very much appreciated, as we are not used to a lot of heat. Next day when we were checking out the breakfast options, he got up from behind the desk and offered to make us a waffle. Very nice experience. WiFi was quite good. Great location.

Oasis Motel is run by the sweetest loveliest most welcoming couple. I was too shy to ask their names. It sounds like they are staying right at the property and get up at all hours to let the guests in. For the 'motel' class of lodging we were also pleasantly surprised by the room - it was clean, very spacious, had a little kitchen AND a jacuzzi bath.

The man who checked us in was SO over-the-top friendly and welcoming. Smiles and friendly conversation and suggestions for local restaurants. He surprised us at our car and carried our suitcases up to our second floor room. the room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Shower was hot. Breakfast offered a good variety.

The exterior rates a “B” because it shows the effects of weathering but the staff and the actual room rate a B+.

The owner is a wonderful person! He is always out maintaining and cleaning the property! He always has a smile on his face. All the times we have stayed if you are on the top floor he runs right over and takes all your things up to the room for you and when we had a longer stay and went to the store he also ran right out and took all of our groceries up as well. His wife and daughter are also extremely sweet. They paint all the pictures you see in the rooms and you can purchase one if you like it. Very family oriented and feels like home.

Nothing we did not like. My only comment would be the it would be useful to have a socket by the table snd chairs to be able to plug in the laptop and use it on the table. Maybe there was one but I could not locate it. It was a minor point that I did not bother the owners with.

The manager was exceptionally accomodating and friendly. We requested early check in, received an email the room would be ready and it was, with a comfy room temperature. The manager came out and even helped us carry our bags up to our room. He was very kind and helpful. For an older hotel, it was kept clean and was very affordable. The pool was open but like the other hotels, the hottub was closed due to Covid. We recommend this hotel if you're wanting a budget friendly, clean, comfy hotel. Thsnk you for making our 2 night stay for a family wedding very comfortable. The washer and dryer were an added bonus as we've been traveling and staying at motels for a week already. The washer and dryer were older but half the price we paid at the last hotel. They even had waffles for breakfast instead of the usual brown bag Covid breakfasts we've been getting.

We think they have done the best that can be done with an older Hotel during covid.

Good breakfast and coffee, room was very large, slept four adults when we brought a blow up bed. Really nice owners who made sure to ask about our golf day after we played, they work hard to accommodate their guests.

Hot tub needs work, was just hot water, need some bubbles and a working filtration system for me to feel comfortable going in more than once.

The family that owns the property is courteous, attentive, and, unlike the staff you'll often find at today's budget motels, they actually seem to get the golden rule of the food, beverage, & travel industries: increasing revenue is dependant upon the ability to generate a steady growth in repeat patronage. And that is based exclusively upon any business's ability to create for itself a loyal customer base. The unspoken part of this rule is just as important and reads: That same revenue stream will decline precipitously, slowing to a mere trickle, if s customer loyalty isn't actively sought on a regular/consistent basis. As Ive said at the beginning,, the folks at The Oasis seem to get it that customer loyalty isn't created only at the bottom line of some transaction between the motel and the guest. They understand that a positive guest experience isn't derived from how my stay affected them. As a matter of fact. That's where the negative guest experience is waiting to tear into any amount amount customer loyally that has already been developed. I'm altogether amazed that I'm even saying this but, I believe I've found a place where my travel experience was made positive because ithey positively went out of their way to ensure that it was positively about me. Oh. And the continents breakfast rivaled any that I've seen in my travels around the globe and exceeded anything I've experience at any establishment carrying even a three star rating

Perfect location. Close to a grocery store and a gas station store. The motel has a park like setting in back, place where children could play in the grass, jump on a trapleliene and also have BBQ's to use.

Most places that have a microwave and refrigerator usually have a 2 cup coffee pot. I was missing that.
