I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Olympic Lodge in Port Angeles, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The lodge itself is beautifully maintained, with well-appointed rooms that were both comfortable and tastefully decorated. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning location of the lodge. Nestled amidst the natural beauty of the Olympic Peninsula, the lodge offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery. It was the perfect escape into nature. The staff at the Olympic Lodge were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. From providing helpful information about local attractions to promptly addressing any requests, their attentiveness made me feel well taken care of. What truly set the Olympic Lodge apart was the peaceful and serene ambiance. It provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring Olympic National Park and other nearby attractions. The comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep, and waking up to the tranquil surroundings was a delight. Overall, my experience at the Olympic Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing getaway in the Port Angeles area. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply looking for a serene escape, this lodge is sure to exceed your expectations.

Staff was friendly. Glad we checked day before we left. Although guaranteeing by email a pet room and paying immediately, one had not been reserved and the front desk wanted me to call Booking.com, cancel the reservation and rebook. Then see if they had a room as he couldn't accommodate us as we had used Booking.com as a 3rd party vendor. Stayed on the phone and after about 5 minutes of back and forth they found a pet room. Poor communication between the left and right hand. Lesson learned to call the property directly before traveling to confirm details.

Pet fee is quite high at $25USD per pet per night with no extra amenities supplied. I think that these properties need to rethink the approach of making $$ on pet owners. In exchange this cost us $142 CDN for 2 nights just for the pups.

Fantastic rooms with a lodge feel. The beds were very comfortable (how often can one say that about a hotel room?), were immaculately clean and quite spacious. The breakfast was good with a lot of options, and there is a pool and hot tub too. In the atrium is a large fireplace with a real wood fire - a good place to relax for a few minutes and warm up on the way in. A great location, right as you enter the center of Port Angeles, so access to restaurants and the ferry port is easy. Plenty of parking.

While the location was very convenient, there is, alas, no sea view to speak of. However, the back of the hotel looks over a golf course, which affords a green field look (except for the golfers).

The hotel was beautiful. We enjoyed walking thru the halls looking at the beautiful scenery pictures taken throughout the Olympic Peninsula! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The walks around the building, with all the streams and little waterfalls were absolutely gorgeous! The fireplace made for a romantic place to enjoy a glass of wine! Our room was comfortable and beautiful!

It would have been nice to have coffee available after breakfast. ( as it ran out near the end of breakfast and I would of liked just one more cup) The room was great, but was way too dark. More or brighter lighting would have been nice when searching for things in the suitcase. (Or a dropped earring on the floor!!)

The lodge is conveniently located in town and easy to find. The king bed rooms face the adjacent golf course. Booking.com only listed two queen rooms available toward the street, but we were able to upgrade to a King room on the golf course side for only $20. Good buffet style breakfast was included in the rate. The outdoor pool and hot tub is open until 10 PM and is a nice spot to relax after a long drive.

Nothing- but be aware there seems to be a very wide range of rates and pricing. On booking.com we paid $100 less than what the desk clerk was quoting for someone on the phone……

This is a very nice hotel. It was in a great location, clean, and very well kept. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom was a good size with hot water and good water pressure. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable of the area and park. They had a lot of tips on where to go and places to eat. The hotel inside and out is just perfect. Breakfast was the star of the show. They had tons of options. Hands down the best breakfast at any restaurant I've ever stayed at!

The property was very well cared for. And the view in the main lobby was just beautiful, looking up the hillside of a golf course. There was a roaring fire in the fireplace of the main lobby as well. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. There were free cookies and coffee at checkin. My room was spotless, bed was comfy. I would stay here again.

There are very many options for breakfast, more than usual. But it was cafeteria style. I prefer a sit down, but the food was good!

great atmosphere. loved the fire place. my bf loved that we could look at the golf course from our room. the breakfast was amazing. almost felt like a restaurant inside the lodge that was free. they called us the day before to confirm and offer recommendations on things to do and places to eat.

our keys didn’t work when we were taking our stuff to the car and trying to get back in to check out. we had to go around to the front of the lodge and go through the main doors.

I can say only great things about the Olympic Lodge! I love it and I will absolutely be back! The property feels like an historic but updated lodge, and seems larger than it is, maybe because of the wide hallways. It has a warm inviting feel and everything is comfortable and perfect! The staff was so friendly & helpful! The hot tub was fantastic after hiking in the National park. The breakfast is best I’ve had for a free hotel breakfast. I literally loved my stay there!

Nothing, I loved everything about it!

The lodge is so worth the little splurge. The fireplace, leather couches and art work in the lobby make for such a welcoming experience. The rooms were large, had a comfy bed and very clean. I enjoyed breakfast. It was plentiful and staff were very friendly.

My only recommendation would be to put an additional blanket on the bed or in the closet. I like to sleep with the room a bit cold but the comforter was too thin to do that.
