One concern was the bathroom light. It at first appeared that the only light in the bathroom was the light switch outside the bathroom which also was wired into the loud bathroom fan as well as the mirror light. Only during the second day did we dare try the switch which appeared to be an old unused fan switch. This was in fact the switch for the overhead light in bathroom that was set with a timer. It would be better if this switch was actually labelled "overhead light".

The price is a bit steep. I am used to prices being half of what they are today. This applies to all motels/hotels today. Problem is that my wages haven't doubled in same time frame as motel prices have doubled. My wages are the same. Another concern is that there was no phone in the room in order to make local calls to restaurants, etc. We are from Canada and our cell phone doesn't work in the USA.

Older hotel but room was big enough for a table and two chairs plus a desk. A/C unit, nice bath, and the bed was terrific! Very nice sheets (whoo-hoo, not white!), expensive-feeling and very soft. Bed was very excellent, firm. I hope they (and other hotels) don't get sucked into "upgrading" to pillow-top beds, which just kill my back. Good TV and easy channel guide, nice towels and hair dryer in bath. Town isn't walkable from the hotel, but Port Angeles is small and easy to navigate with lots of parking by the harbor for shops and restaurants so this wasn't a problem for us. The room was large enough for myself and my family without any of us feeling like we were stepping on each other. The bathroom was a really good size and very spacious with plenty of towels. Though we didn’t need to use it the hotel is very accessible for those who need it with ramps pretty much everywhere. The gentleman on the desk on Tuesday morning was also very helpful as I wanted to double check if there was unpaid parking near the pier and he was happy to give me directions.

Very spacious, quick easy check in and out. Friendly, helpful staff. Great stay for a motel. Will need to stay in Port Angeles most weekends next 6 weeks and plan to stay here again because of location in town, and lower cost in an expensive, remote town with very limited summer availability. Mini fridge was nice and cold.

The floor was swept but not very clean. My socks were very dirty after walking on the floor a short time. Overall the room seemed clean otherwise. Prices in this area are very high.

The staff are ALWAYS helpful and friendly. I feel bad as I did not catch the front desk woman's name. We stay at this hotel several times a year to visit family. I wrote a request on booking.com asking if we could stay in a specific building of 3 that have available as I have allergies. That building was full but we tried the third one for the first time and she upgraded us to the suite for free! It was a very roomy room with a nice bathroom/bathtub/shower. We are used to just a shower which is fine too. This is the ONLY place we will stay!

The location was great for accessing port Angeles, just a short walk (about 10-15mins) or a quick drive in. The reception staff were nice when I checked in and check out was quick as I could just leave my key in a drop box. The room was fine and the shower was hot and high pressure. Just what I needed to go on some great hikes in the national park! It's a little basic but value for money is great.

The road was a little loud and there were a couple of funny plumbing noises that woke me up!

Room was incredibly clean when we checked in. Location is great alao.

Didn't choose to have maid service on the first day after we checked in, just picked up fresh towels. Did leave out 'maid service please ' sign the following day when we left (just before 10aml but when we got back at 3pm the room hadn't been made over, so we took it off and just got fresh towels again

The owners/managers were very helpful and accommodating. Responded quickly. Helped us out of a jam when the battery on my car died in the morning and I needed a jump...basically saved me $150. The place is not the Ritz but I wasn't expecting that. It is a modest clean place to stay for a very fair price in a spectacular area of the country. You can see the mountains from the room (when it is clear ;) And you can easily get to the historic downtown and the wharf from the motel. The staff told us of wonderful place to have dinner with a beautiful view of the harbor.

I think you should invest in some softer sheets and blankets. Costco is a good place to buy such things in bulk for reasonable prices.

The location was great, in Port Angeles close to Lake Crescent and Hurricane Ridge trailheads. The room was big with a lot of amenities (fridge, microwave). It was clean, and the check in/checkout was easy.

The ventilation in the bathroom was basic (a hole in the wall with a fan).

Room and property was very clean. Loved the spiral ramp and helpful friendly check-in person. Location was great, about a 1 minute drive to the ferry terminal. The bed was crisp and clean and smelled nice. I also liked the price. I was only staying for about 8 hours of sleeping and a shower, so it was great to have a nice price qnd not have to break the bank.

I felt very safe, but still would have liked a door chain on both the outer door and the door that connected to another room
