Sundowner Motel Sequim

Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet location and great value.

Everything about our room was just right, and then some. Our check-in was best ever too.

My wife and I have been to Sequim and this is the first time we've stayed at the Sundowner. I was worried about the place because it did not look good from the outside, but the rooms looked nice and it had good reviews, so we went for it. The manager Jimmy called me the day before to tell me everything was per our request, he was there when we arrived (late), was super polite, and the room was spotlessly clean and silent. No kidding. My wife and I NEED clean and NEED cleanliness to be comfortable and this please was GREAT. We will stay there the next time we go to Sequim (and thank you again Mr. Jimmy!) David S

We got upgraded to a king and paid less than the initial amount we were expecting. So lovely! Super clean, really nice furniture, hot shower, very quiet. My husband and I desperately needed this nice place after days on the road in national parks without nearly as many amenities.

Bed was a little stiff, but I’ve been sleeping on an air mattress in campsites for days, so it’s possible it was my body with the issues and not the bed, ha ha.

I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I entered the room - it looked new and modern and extremely clean, better than the other motels where I usually stay, with very comfortable bed. Sorry, I said "Sundance" below, and it should be Sundowner!

Nothing, except your picture of the place should be changed since it just looks like a big parking lot in front of it.

We arrived at 11pm - knew nothing about the hotel and was scared I was walking into the Bates Motel from Psycho. WOKE UP IN HEAVEN! The guy who checked in was amazingly kind and prompt about getting us settled. He was incredible - the whole facility was great! I cannot say enough nice things. We will be back for sure.

We stay in a lot of budget motels and this was one of the better ones. The fellow who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. He even gave us a free upgrade! The rooms are a little tired but clean and nicely furnished. Overall we felt it was great value for the price and a much more reasonably priced alternative to Port Angelus.

The room we stayed in could have used a bit more work but it didn't really affect our stay.

So much to love about our stay here.... where to start??? The guy on reception was so helpful. Let us store our bags when we checked out so we enjoyed our day. Problem with entry to our room was quickly resolved. Always at reception when we needed him. Top man. The room was beautifully decorated with everything to make our stay comfortable. A super comfy bed! And a very competitive price. Right next door was a Diner that did great food. And also a few mins from Sequim transit center. Loved our stay.

Clean, comfortable room. Pretty good bed, nice pillows, standard towels, lamps with plug-ins at bedside. Couch and bed. Good location close to restaurants and the highway. Coffee maker, fridge and tv with lots of channels. Excellent price for an overnight stay.

There was a bunch of sugar ants in the bathroom. Didn't find any in the bedroom, though. The person next door left their tv on all night, and you could hear it through the wall.

Nothing fancy, but very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. When you just need a place to get a good sleep, this is the place. We had a room tucked in the corner (#111), and it was dead quiet.
