Uptown Inn

Breakfast was so good! Always the same which is nice by knowing what to expect. The Waffles (same brand and type like most Marriott's have) are amazing! I had one every morning of my stay! The staff were thee most friendliest ones I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Kudos to them! Amazing Water Pressure! Such a powerful shower was like a light massage!

Was in room 100 2 Queen Beds which is what I asked for, but when the wind blew it whistled very loudly in there! Also, I am not a fan of them controlling the thermostat for the room. It was very cold in our room and wasn't very comfortable considering it was very cold outside to me. Rooms are very dated but work very well!

Cute little place, bathroom not updated but completely functional. The room was clean and the bed and linens were comfortable. Parking spot right outside the door. Two blocks from downtown restaurants and Discovery trail. One block from Safeway. Quiet except for the seagulls. The staff was very pleasant and the included breakfast was satisfactory and appreciated.

The room was quite warm the day we checked in (August) and there is no A/C. There is a floor fan but we opened the windows after it cooled off instead. Nature's air conditioning.

The Inn was a short walk from the ferry dock. The staff were pleasent, helpful and friendly. We were checked in fast and told there was a Safeway about two blocks around the corner. We checked in at the Quality in and were told we could go back there in the morning for breakfast. The breakfast was great. Our hotel room was across the street from Quality Inn. It was nice and clean and quiet. The price was so reasonable and definately worth every penny. We would be happy to stay there again when in Port Angeles.

The baseboard heater in our room the first night made little ticking somewhat loud sounds when it would go on. Managed to fall asleep regardles because the place was quiet. The next night when we came back to Port Angeles we stayed at the Uptown Inn again but in a different rroom, and that room's heater was quiet.

The room was fairly cozy, clean, welcoming. The linens on the bed were nice cotton, not the squeaky polyester blankets. There is definitely wear and tear around the room, but it's obvious that the buildings are pretty old, so it's to be expected. The ceiling fan helped some with keeping the room a little fresher and cooler than outside. I liked that they didn't worry about enterting the room until the end of my stay. Then I didn't have to worry about any of my belongings moving. The available coffee and breakfast in the QI office was good. the microwave and fridge were spotless.

The shower was an adventure in maintaining a consistent temperature, and there is no AC in the room. I had my window open a bit overnight and was awoken early one morning by a heavy smoker coughing (which was fine) then lighting up somewhere outside so that the smoke smell filled my room. I quickly shut the window, and the ceiling fan helped dissipate the smell. The outlet by the chair didn't work. The amenities being across the street was awkward, and the in-room packages are never enough.

Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet area during our stay, with plenty of hot water, towels, etc., and loved our dogs getting treats from the hotel staff. Appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms with NO carpeting and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our trip to add a new puppy to our family possible with pet-friendly rooms.

No dish soap for cleaning dishes and kitchen light didn't work but no biggies for us.

Perfect location in the center of Port Angeles. Staff were very friendly and helpful when I needed them and left me alone exactly as I wished. While the building is obviously older, the plumbing and fixtures were in good shape, and a refrigerator and microwave were provided. A nonsmoking building was very, very much appreciated. The location is walkable to several cafes and coffee as well as safeway. It was exactly what I needed at a good price.

It's an older motel building, the walls are thin, and parking lot traffic is right outside the door. I knew that going in, though, so can hardly call it something I didn't like. Honestly the room was exactly what I needed and I was not lacking for anything.

This is our second stay here. We stay for 7 days. The location is the best, its near everything, safeway, shops, restaurants, bus terminal and beautiful surounding. The staff is also the best, so friendly. We will be back again when we visit Port Sngeles

There was a leak at the sink, we already report it, but noone came to fix it until we check out

Good location - easy walking distance to the ferry and good restaurants. The room was small but had a comfortable bed and two good chairs. The breakfast had Raisin Bran and 3 types of fruit. There were also breakfast sandwiches that could be microwaved. The shower was roomy.

The Uptown Inn was difficult to spot and check-in was at the Quality Uptown across the street. The water temperature in the shower was warm, but not hot.

It was a close walk from the ferry. Breakfast was good. It was very clean and comfortable.There was a very strong smell of aftershave or perfume in this room only. The smell remained on our clothes even when we got home. The heater worked good but made a noise. There was a Safeway store a short walk away. It was a good quiet area. We would stay here again when in Port Angeles. Thank you, great staff.

Location was great: walking distance from plenty of food and the pier. It was funky old school decor but pretty clean and comfortable. Tv was a bit small. Felt like a home away from home and well stocked for dishes and stuff. The dude on duty was great: friendly and helpful. It was restful.

Sorting out which building i had a reservation at was a bit confusing and the room was across the street and the laundry across another. No biggie. Just a bit confusing.
