Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle South/Renton

First off Daiel (sp?) at the front desk deserves some praise. My BFF and I were looking for a hotel to celebrate her birthday. After the poor CS from the property next door, Daiel was more than happy to not only answer all our many questions but also allowed us to look at the rooms. Her exceptional CS didn’t stop after we booked our reservation it continued until check out. We had the best time. I’m already looking at returning in May.

I loved everything! It would be nice to be able to crack open a window to help air out the room after cooking.

Convenient location.

I was asked at check in if I wanted my room refreshed every other day and I said yes. That never happened! Small fitness area lacking basic equipment (chest press and abs machines). Also customers must be informed before booking that there is an extra charge for parking. It is an expensive accommodation and parking should be included in the price already.

The breakfast was great. There was a little market that had a couple items we wanted so we didn’t have to order food delivery. Lots of space in the room for 2, since my husband has a walker. Good sized bathroom and shower.

The patio had low planters which were difficult to maneuver around to be able to sit on patio(deck), so we never did.

The room was spacious and very nice. The Bed was comfortable, the lobby area clean and modern/sleek, and the front desk staff was great. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Parking was easy also.

We have no complaints except the ice machine wasn't working. We were only there for 1 night and thought the property was very nice.

Very nice large room with a full kitchen. The kitchen even had utensils and cookware which I’ve never seen in a hotel before. The room I was in had a nice view of the park across the street.

Definitely on the expensive side.

The room was very comfortable and well laid out. The breakfast was actually really good. Facilities were very clean.

The pet area was not clear and pretty non-existent. We asked for garbage bags and they never arrived. I asked housecleaning directly and she had me wait until she cleaned the room.

Only grabbed a yogurt, fruit cup and coffee. Looked to have a wonderful selection, just didn’t have time to eat more

Limited selection at kiosk the night before. Due to poor weather could not get any food delivery. Would have liked a beer. Had only wine. No assistance in calling for a cab in the morning

This is a great place - it looks like a brand new place, hardly used. The room is very spacious with a lot of amenities. It is also close to Lake Washington and within walking distance.

I am very pleased with my stay at this hotel. We spent 6 nights in the hotel. Room - studio very nice and large. Beautiful view of lake Washington and the park. Good breakfast included in the price of the room. I definitely recommend this hotel

the staff was exceptional. they were able to book us with rooms next door to each other on a last-minute booking. then they were able to extend our stay in the same rooms. Eggs and sausage in a cup was novel and the coffee cake was amazing!
