Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Seattle South - Tukwila, an IHG Hotel

This property is close to the South Center Mall and many more shopping and dining outlets. It is easy to get to from either I5 or through surrounding neighborhood via Apple Carplay and Google Maps apps in your car. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The free breakfast for us and our granddaughter we had taken for a back to school shopping trip was very good. This is a newer property and as such is not an ex-smoking hotel that has been converted to non-smoking and all the stink that always seems to stay in those kinds of hotels.

Quite frankly nothing. The South Center Mall plus other smaller strip mall stores is minutes away and there are lots of restaurants in the area.

The room was very nice. Large sleeping space and large bathroom with a bath tub. The room was quite until I opened the window. Very convenient location for me to go to the Tahoma Clinic and restaurants for lunch or dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good with enough to eat that was gluten free.

The coffee and tea cups were plastic. I understand why Holiday Inn uses plastic but a glass or ceramic cup would make the beverage taste better. I walked to the Good Will store and purchased a coffee mug for $1.99. May I suggest that coffee mugs with the Holiday Inn logo be available for rent or purchase.

Very convenient to shopping, interstate and airport. Secure. Quiet. Clean

My only complaint is the fitness center. The ventilation is very poor. I understand setting the thermostat at 72 for energy savings but that is TOO HIGH for an exercise room with no ventilation. You need to lower the temp and put in a large standing fan or something. I tried to use it but just too uncomfortable.

Room is nice and neat, breakfast every morning. Tried the indoor pool..more better if it's warm...pretty cold.

Guest laundry had 1 washer 1 dryer machine, can't wash because the washer is broken...need to drive 2.2 miles to reach laundry facilities, it's very inconvenient specially for me traveling with children's. I believe the hotel should start investing a better and more washer and dryer.

breakfast says 6am to 10am but 930am there are no more sausages and pancake machine turned off because the staff don’t want to put another bag of pancake, because its”ALMOST” 10am when you say 6-10am BREAKFAST food must be serve within those times its only 930am no egg, no pork sausage, no pancake. just change the breakfast time 6am to 930am 🙄 just saying. the hotel stay is not cheap and because of this it’s not worth to come back. there are a lot of better competitive hotel there that will serve full breakfast buffet until the said time.

we stayed for 2 nights, check in was easy room was very clean comfortable and i like the fact they have a indoor pool my kids enjoyed it..and also breakfast was good..

everything was good the only thing was the tv was working my kids where trying to watch it but other then that everything was great..

This hotel was really nice! We were pleased by the cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff. It was really secure as well. Room key cards are required to enter the building after hours as well as use the elevators.

Nothing charged while we were gone because to power your room required a key card left in a power station.

Comfortable beds, good breakfast, clean hotwl.

I didn't like that the front desk workers had their friends hanging out in the lobby. I felt uncomfortable when I was going in and out of the hotel, and I felt as if the friends were watching me.

The breakfast was very good. I also liked the size and the layout of the bathroom. The bed was also comfortable.

The location, being so near to the freeway, made the property a little noisy, but at the same time the location made it very easy to get onto the freeway to get around. The room was a bit humid, and the people in the next room played very loud music until about one in the morning. They kept going in and out of their room, and the doors were very loud as they opened and closed them.

Lacy deserves a HUGE bonus or raise. She was unbelievable at check in. All flights cancelled at SeaTac due to snow. Mass checking in all at once and she’s grabbing the phones AND she’s being kind and helpful to Everyone !!!! She was amazing. Total professional. As was the staff this morning and shuttle driver - thank god you got shuttle running after taxis overcharged and quit running. Seattle was a nightmare. Holiday inn experience was the ONLY bright spot and just amazing!!!

Keep the shuttle running! The taxi / Uber situation in Seattle is a scam! I’d rather tip a good shuttle driver for getting me directly to the hotel or airport. People count on that reliability.
