DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Seattle Airport/Southcenter

I read through the reviews. Of course you get a couple bad ones but I noticed that it's a high star place and I was desperate. I looked to.see if it had a swiming pool and if it was open and it was and everything exceeded my expectations. The room was so nice for our family of 6. The beds were comfortable the room was big n nice. I would recommend and definitely visit again. It was so cool it had a racquet ball court, basket ball court, jacuzzi, pool, gym , and they had a restaurant/ bar amd also a Starbucks! It was an awesome location close to everything the mall and food and stores. I wish I could've went and did more but it was just for a night with the kids.

The hotel is very spacious, as well as the room. It had very good space, you don't feel cramped there. I was traveling with family so it was good that the room had enough space and the sofabed had an area separated from the bedroom. Also, the sofabed was quite large and had good space. The location is also very good if you want to do some shopping at Westfield Southcenter Mall or go to de other stores. You can go on foot. A plus was the airport shuttle, which is free of charge.

The rooms could use some maintenance. The safe didn't work, the doors had some small maintenance issues. And certain areas of the room seem old and in need of care. For the type of hotel, it would be good to modernize it and take care of these details. Also, the room was cold at night, they could give more blankets for the sofa bed or have an option of a warmer blanket.

close to restaurants and shopping pool was open and working (we travel a lot for our kids sports and most hotels we visited this season had pools under maintenance/closed bed/blankets were actually comfortable. other hotels we have visited have thin blankets and we always need extra to get comfortable

the open lobby is a cool concept but doesn’t block any noise to the hotel rooms. guests in bar area were still pretty noisy when i was trying to get my daughter to sleep around 10pm

Spacious room, convenient location, clean, our room had two TVs which was great because our kids got use of 1 while my husband and I used the other. Pool/ hot tub waa fins and liked that hotel also had a sauna. We all loved the fresh cookies while checking in :)

They should give complimentary water bottles OR not put them in room at all….. 2 water bottles were placed in room that were priced at $2.50 per water.

1.Friendly staff. 2. Clean and spacious room with separate living room area. This room had a door to separate it from the bedroom area, which was a useful buffer against the noise that was coming up from the bar in the open atrium downstairs. 3. Restaurant staff were very friendly. Coffee was good. Food was decent (except for stale raisins served with the oatmeal).

1. Noise from the bar. The open atrium design of the hotel just doesn’t make sense for noise. 2. Although this hotel appears on the surface to be upscale, the truth is that it is very dated and in need of a refresh. The room, although spacious, felt like an older hotel. The bathroom, which was quite small, was in dire need of a fresh coat of paint. 3. Most hotels of this class include some type of modest breakfast. This one does not.

Great location, awesome cookies my family enjoyed. I can't have nuts but I believed them that they were great.

Check in was a joke, 2 people at counter that let me stand there for a few minutes b4 helping me or acknowledging me even. I was on kreches (broken foot) And it took us almost 30minutes to check in. Nobody else was there they were on the phones.

Staff was very friendly. They definitely go above and beyond to keep customers satisfied. Will definitely book again. Location was very convenient. South-center mall, target, banks and great restaurants right around the corner. Walking distance for sure. Breakfast recommended, Buffet style or menu option. Super clean rooms, beds were AMAZING!

Our stay was great!

Was in town for a concert & originally had reservations at a place closer to the Tacoma Dome. Decided to stay closer to the airport & the Doubletree was more luxurious, more convenient & less expensive! Staff went out of their way to help us find a great little Italian place for dinner. They even called them for us to make sure they were still open. Close to lots of shopping & there is a shuttle to the airport. My only comment is that for 3 adults in our suite, there was only TWO coffee pods! No biggie, there’s a Starbucks in the lobby!

The only thing I can say about this property is It's very close walking distance to everything.

Hiltons Embassy Suites down the ways from this property at southcenter is WAY BETTER than this property based on comfortableness, ambiance and amenities, AND PRICE! I have to really stress this because of the laundry facility we have access to and breakfast set up is even better. there's even a starbucks inside! Parking is even way more secure! BTW doubletree mentions laundry facility but doesn't actually have one to use.Thats the main reason I booked there. The parking seems a little sketchy too.

Room was not that clean especially the bathtub. But overall it still okay since it is close to where my son wants to see.

It they check thoroughly the room, carpets and the water bottle if they are not really opened. I forgot to buy some water so my Mom took the one on the table. She stated that the water was already opened since she did not make effort in opening it and it taste like the water from the faucet. The bed was uncomfortable. I sleep well on the couch than on the bed. My son also didn’t sleep well on the bed.
