Hampton Inn Seattle/Southcenter

The room was great, the beds were comfortable and the pillows were great. Breakfast was ok, every day was the same thing so not much of a selection & always crowded. The location was great for us. This hotel is always very busy. The staff seems overworked. We asked for a room away from the freeway and got it, it was very quiet.

A nicer selection of breakfast foods would be good & it would be nice to have half/half for coffee instead of the sweet creamers provided. Did not appreciate the fire alarm going off at 6:00 am one morning! No apology or explanation was ever given.

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was decent, not overwhelming.

Very unhappy with he transportation service to the cruise port. Either your book needs to be updated or they should not be changing the price. We had 8 people so a van was required. We were quoted by your hotel staff 105.00 and that was confirmed by the transport service. Hours later the transport service got back to your staff and said it was 120.00 one way. I know it was only 15.00 difference BUT it's the principle. Your staff was not at fault at all. And the transport place was 45 mins late picking us up. Will NOT use this service again.

The one thing that really surprised me positively was breakfast. Breakfast was much better than what I expected. There were scrambled eggs, sausage, potatos, waffles, bagels and much more. The room was nice, and spacious. There was a nice bathroom and the shower was nice and warm.

The small fridge in the room made a lot of noise. The air conditioner/heater was also a bit noisy. For people who have a hard time sleeping, I recommend turning off the fridge. If you are staying longer, and would need the fridge, I might recommend changing rooms if when you get in there is a humming noise that you do not know where it is from. There is no room cleaning service for stays shorter than 4 days due to covid. Not really a problem, but you need to make your own bed now.

great bed, pillows, towels... missed most breakfasts, ends at 9 but had nice selection, waffles... eggs, sausage, potatoes once. good security

accounting system maxed out my card with daily holds and had to contact bank ( I stayed over a week) after i complained to staff, GM tried to run charges to wipe out holds with limited success. had a reoccurring toilet clogged problem i had to take care of myself, maintenance off on weekends. Ugliest carpeting ive ever seen ;)

The assistant manager Erin was the best person that has ever understood the needs of someone that was in a wheelchair. She went out of her way to see if a customer she new that was booked into a wheelchair accessible room and didn't need that type of room would switch for me to be able stay there. Erin and her staff were double awesome!!!

However, the room size was not conducive to be wheelchair accessible. Only one side of the bed was accessible and anything beyond was not accessible. This is the smallest handicapped room I have ever stayed in.

Breakfast was good, not the luxury breakfast I've experienced at other Hamptons but good nontheless. The shuttle to the shopping and restaurant district was a great help. The evening staff was amazing! Wish I had paid attention to names so I could publicly thank them.

No washcloth's even when requested, the daytime staff said Laundry was running behind, but they would get some to us. We never recieved any.

Shuttle to mall, airport and light rail station was good. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice.

Breakfast was ok but needs more options. Get there early for the food to be hot. Laundry had one washer and dryer but no soap or change to use them. Hotel could use a make over as it is an older hotel. Rooms need better lighting

the only thing that needs to improve is the wifi speed. It's extremely slow. Check in was slow due to many guests arrived at the same time. It took the staff a while to fix the broken desk light. I guess it's short of staff.

The location was very convenient for my appointment at South Center. Easy in and out of the hotel for a single traveler. I was surprised at how quiet my room was considering how close to I-405. Breakfast was very good and a lot of variety.

The room could have been dusted and vacuumed better. Whilst showering in the morning with the bathroom door closed, I saw a towel hanging on the back on the door hook. It definitely looked like it have been used. Not a good sight.

We went for a family trip since it was my wife's birthday. Decided to stay at the Hampton Inn to see the main attractions in Seattle, such as the market, space needle, aquarium etc. It was a great experience and the convenience of having great restaurants surrounding the hotel was a plus.

Everything was good and I don't have anything to complain.
