Cedarbrook Lodge

The moment we entered the van to take us to Cedarbrook, our traveling tension began melting away with the great classical music playing during the 10 minute shuttle to the lodge. The lodge is beautifully landscaped with walking paths, lovely water features, and a variety of beautiful plants. The room was spacious and well appointed. Everyone working there was so helpful and fun to engage with. The restaurant had delicious food and great staff. Wish we had stayed longer so that we could have been pampered at the spa!

It was an oasis in the city, loved the PNW vibe and the huge windows. Foot was VERY good, although expensive. All staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the vanity items (shampoo, bath salts, etc) very nice touch.

Our room was not serviced between the 2 nights. Maybe this is policy since COVID, but I didn't see any reference to it, so I expected daily cleaning. Not your fault, but we had constant rain for two days so we did not get to enjoy the grounds. Would have liked more directions (below you say there was a beach nearby -- I had no idea)

Lovely property (it's hard to believe it's so close to the airport), comfortable and quiet room, complimentary airport shuttle, lots of amenities (bar was especially good) and little extras (complimentary snacks in the "living room").

I think, for the price, a complimentary continental breakfast would be nice (apparently it was offered until recently, and I thought was included in the price). The shuttle took awhile for pick-up, but things are really a mess at Sea-Tac these days, so that's no fault of the property.

It's unexpected to find a hotel that doubles as a retreat center so near an airport. We like the quiet comfort of this place. There are many amenities, including large, well-appointed rooms, great rooms, snacks, bar and restaurant, and beautiful grounds.

The room furniture and finishes are looking a little tired and worn from use. Hallway carpet is worn and traffic patterns are showing. It's about time to replace the hall carpet, desk chair seats in rooms, and do some refinishing on wood finishes.

This property is close to the airport, but still quiet. You seldom hear the planes. It depends a little on where your room is located, but even the traffic noise is limited. The hotel/conference center is surrounded by a great garden with paths, ponds, running water. Great to take a relaxing walk. Restaurant is good and has healthy foods. Great restaurants in the neighborhood.

Pillows on the bed were too fluffy and big for sleeping. Restaurant closes on the early side. But in general it is a great place to stay.

Lovely grounds, spacious, quiet, a calm oasis. And I had a delicious meal at one of the tables in the bar! Great service and staff at front desk and in the bar area. I would love to stay and enjoy the amenities at a future stay as this stay was only overnight to catch an early morning flight home. Very comfortable bed, quiet room, generously sized bathroom, liked being able to open windows at night for fresh air. Truly a lovely place to stay.

We had dinner in the restaurant, and I think it was maybe the best of my grandmother had ever eaten, and she is very old. The room was large and comfortable and well appointed. The staff let us check in 6 hours early, which was really wonderful, because we had nowhere else to go. The selection of cocktails in the bar was very good.

The shower head in our room was kind of busted and was more leaky than it should have been, so there wasn't good water pressure. Also, if I'm going to be very nitpicky, the toilet flush valve is on the wrong side for a fully (ansi 117.1) accessible room. My grandmother forgot to flush a lot, that may or may not be why.

We always stay at Cederbrook if we have a very early flight the next morning. They have a dependable shuttle service, but more importantly, they have a FABULOUS restaurant. We finally got the table in front of the fireplace. A fire, a martini, a spectacular dinner, and a lift to the airport - what could be better? Dependability. On top of everything, every time we have stayed at Cedarbrook it is an exceptional experience. They are consistently wonderful. It is good to have a place to depend upon after such a difficult couple of years. Thanks everyone at Cedarbrook.

This was our second stay at Cedarbrook Lodge, and as with our first visit, we were not disappointed. The entire grounds are like a little slice of paradise in the city, with expansive gardens, and rooms that are very private. Our 3rd floor room was large, and had everything we could need/want - a huge and comfy bed, a coffee maker, fridge, great walk-in shower, and nice amenities. Couple all of these in with professional, friendly staff, quick WiFi, and the wonderful treats that are on offer, and it is quite simply heaven. We used the fully equipped gym twice, getting good aerobic and weight workouts. We loved that the gym was open 24hr. A hot tub is located outside the gym, and while it looked inviting (and was in frequent use), we did not have the time to partake unfortunately. There are a few food options within walking distance (as well as the hotel restaurant), making this an ideal place to stay while needing to use the airport.

Beautiful grounds!! We literally forgot we were close to the airport. They did a great job of making us feel like we were somewhere else. The rooms were spacious, pretty, and clean and the bathrooms are large. The beds were so comfortable and the room was very quiet room at night. The living room share concept was appreciated- snacks, a large TV and a place to play games worked perfectly for us.
