Georgetown Inn Seattle

Breakfast was muffins and fruit which were good, but there is a wonderful place to eat at the Shell station just down the street. Don't laugh, check it out. Hash browns, eggs, sausage platter with baskets, and gravy.

All lodging in Seattle is very overpriced. Transportation is cheap, but being from Atlanta, Seattle lodging is stupid high.

This is a lovely older style hotel, back home we would call this more motel style. it was safe, very clean, very comfortable bed, nice and quiet, and really lovely staff.

It was located in an industrial area which I didn’t realize at the time of booking and was a bit far from the city center for all the touristy things I had planned; I didn’t feel safe walking back alone through the industrial areas by myself but it was close enough for Ubers to be a reasonable price. Breakfast was simple but enough for me for a one night stay, just whole fruit and yogurt plus sweet cakes; if I stayed longer I would have eaten breakfast out.

Handi caped room was great! Lots of space for my chair and crutches. Loved the seat for the tub so i could sit and bathe...the bed was the right height and comfortable too! Perfect stay for us thanks!

The dresser was too close to the bathroom door for my crutches as it tripped me as i came out and turned to the right in the dark... Maybe slide it over away from the bathroom door 1 more foot. Other then that nothing i can think of! :0)

The room seemed very clean, but also had a brown varigated carpet that hides dirt well. The bathroom toiletteries were nice.

The Queen room was very small with a view of a warehouse roof. The mattress was okay, but there were just 3 lumpy pillows so I asked for a fourth. The only ice machine was on another floor. The small breakfast area was in the lobby, which is already small, and only offered fruit and Costco muffins for breakfast. They should advertise this facility as a motel, and indicate only snacks, not a continental breakfast. The area is very industrial so not a place to take an evening stroll. Also the airplane sounds from Sea Tac are sufficiently loud that they put earplugs in the rooms! And lastly, the rates are for a nice area inn, not a motel that this really is!

My husband loves noddles, especially Vietnamese beef noddles, luckily there's one where is up the street from hotel and some Mexican food, Italian restaurant, fine chocolate shop all in walking distance. There's washing machine in hotel also with dryer just asking detergent from reception desk, so convenient. Simple breakfast is enough for us, coffee ,tea,yogurt,sweet bread which is just what I like for breakfast everyday at home.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Decor in the lobby and room was attractive and tasteful. The property in general was well maintained and presentable.

A coffee maker in the room would have been nice. Breakfast was as advertised, but a larger selection would have been nice. There were no USB sockets that I could find in the room, which was no great inconvenience.

The front desk staff were either good, and, or great. 24 hour coffee -- yes! But, real cream would have been nice. Clean and comfy.

I booked for the ambiance portrayed in your pics (and the 24 hour coffee) on this website. While there were touches of that old town, kitsch feel, it really was nothing like that. The decor is mostly brown and bland. It's located on a busy street and was noisy at times, but also in a convenient location.

Fantastic easy access to the 124 bus downtown as well as walking to restaurants. I-5 a block away too. Attentive staff but the detail to building upkeep was exceptional. Very clean and nothing in need of repair. Huge shower and ample hot water.

Felt dark when in front of the long mirror when applying makeup. Doable but could have been brighter.

Friendly staff, VERY comfortable bed, everything was clean and smelled so nice, not too large a property so I didn’t have to walk down endless hallways to get to and from my room. Delicious muffins for breakfast. Nice private free parking included with the room price! Also the TV having a good guide was a huge plus.

I’d have liked to have a microwave in my room but the one in the lobby was fine!

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. They have a nice lobby with coffee and tea throughout the day. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable.

We upgraded to a jacuzzi room since the property didn’t have a pool or hot tub. My husband went to use it and when he turned on the jets hair and debris came out….it was so gross. It really would not be difficult for the room service to partially fill the tub and run the jets after each guest leaves….for sanitary purposes.
