Very interesting main areas retaining original 100yr old fittings. Roof terrace was nice in the sun with friendly staff Stayed twice - the 'Delux' room was great spacious and comfortable the 'standard room' less so. Valet /door staff always smiled and were pleasant

'Standard room' only had one chair the other person needed to sit on the bed. Mattress sloped at the sides and tended to role out of bed if within 1 foot of the edge. Housekeeping -after day 3 found the ' I need housekeeping' button beside the door prior to that no housekeeping (obvious when you know) Worst issue in both rooms we stayed in was aircon had temperature control but no fan control. Outlet is beside the bed so always a cold draft. Call to reception got it turned off, but no control in the room. Reception staff a bit miserable - maybe overworked. Breakfast waiting staff miserable even when leaving them a tip.

Beautiful hotel, very comfortable. I was there for six nights on a combination work/leisure trip and it was a “home away from home”. The location is wonderful within walking distance of Riverfront and shops. Great restaurants, coffee shop, and wine tastings, virtually right out the door. I had two separate reservations for my one stay and when I checked in the desk person handled it expertly, merging them so I did not have to check out and check back in midweek - it went seamlessly. Later in the week the desk person handled my switch from valet to self parking efficiently and seamlessly. We love the soft peanut brittle!

I no longer expect housekeeping service daily, but for the price and quality of hotel, one should not have to make a daily request for coffee replenishment.

We have stayed here before. Last year was way better in all aspects . I like the location and the building.

The front desk staff wasn't so nice. The guy made me feel like I was a second hand customer. I asked him for my breakfast included voucher. I asked him how it worked and he said oh you need to ask your server how much does your voucher can get of breakfast. It surprised me because when I made reservation it said breakfast included actually we ended up paying $100 dollars for breakfast so I think booking. Com shouldn't put breakfast included. The room didn't have body soap.I had to get out soaked to ask for soap. I couldn't believe that being in a 5 star hotel those things happen.

It's a gorgeous hotel and the staff is exceptional in their customer service. I love the Peacock Lounge and their food is excellent.

Because of everyone's difficulty hiring during this pandemic and now the COVID variant, while the room was clean when we arrived, we had to ask for maid services.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was very clean and the toiletries were of a very high quality. Although we could hear the noise from the trains nearby, it was at at an acceptable level. The hotel facilities are beautiful and the location perfect. The staff was very helpful, polite and professional.

I am very disappointed that we could not get our room freshened up as we were staying there for 3 consecutive nights. We were told it was not available and that it was due to covid protocols, which didn't seem to fit what was going on in the rest of the hotel. Staff were unmasked, tables in the restaurant were not set far apart and there were no restrictions on the number of people in an elevator. Covid protocols, really? It all honesty, I believe the hotel was using this excuse to save money and used the covid restrictions explanation as the scapegoat. We are not slobs, but by the end our stay, there was an over abundance of used towels in our room.

Beautiful, historic architecture unfolds at every turn. The breakfast at the Palm Court Grill exceeded our expectations.

With only one Tesla charger available for the parking garage, which happened to be in-use, we were unable to use it and had to alter our plans the next day in order to charge elsewhere. It would be helpful to add a few more chargers, especially since they are the "slow-charge" type where cars are usually charging all day or overnight.

Loved the bed, the pillows and the linens. I slept like a baby. Enjoyed the warm sun on the pretty terrace. And when I had a late morning facial scheduled, it was no problem getting a complimentary 2:00 pm checkout time. Wonderful customer service. The spa facility was lovely. It offered all the little extras, including a mimosa and my facial was excellent.

Beautiful historic building that is graceful and elegant. Amenities, beds and staff have never failed to please. The jewel in the crown is the exquisite central meeting place, and never more do than during Christmas when decorations and roaring fires enhance the atmosphere. The Peacock Bar is terrific; staff are friendly and drinks are delicious. Recommend a peppermint (alcoholic) hot chocolate with whipped cream.

The location was wonderful and downtown Spokane was clean, friendly and inviting! We stayed in a king room, not one of the fanciest but it was large and lovely. Though the opulence wasn’t the same as the Pera Palace, where we stayed in Istanbul last summer, it was reminiscent of it. I would definitely stay there again!

From making the reservation through to check-out, every staff member we dealt with made that interaction a success and a pleasure! Our room was right-sized and we much enjoyed the combination of modern conveniences and historic furnishings. We took several meals In the Palm Court and Peacock Room during our stay and enjoyed excellent food, interesting beverage choices and friendly, professional service. The hotel is located downtown with easy access for pickup by friends or rideshares.

While the Davenport is a busy and pleasant hub of activity, the surrounding area is less so. Hopefully the economy will rebound and the downtown neighborhood will revitalize. Emerging from the hotel onto the sidewalk for a stroll, the many street inhabitants encountered give one the sense that the Zombie Apocalypse is upon us.
